Just a heads up about the company above guys, I ordered on the 13th, they took my money on the 16th, it's now the 25th and they still HAVE NOT SHIPPED.  So, not counting the day I ordered, it's been 12 days.  What is is this, 1972 or something?

Okay guys, we have to think of the wife and/or girl friend for Christmas too...
How about a stone "bath mat" that is easy to clean, dries quickly will not harbor mold or bacteria and prevents her from slipping and landing on her backside?
<< THIS STONE MAT >> might just be the thing.

As some of you may know, I've been on the hunt for a WiFi security type camera that does NOT need Internet access, cloud storage or a subscription plan.  I found one << HERE >> and think it classifies as a guy toy for the holidays.  However you need to know a couple of things...

... their website is a little annoying, and you have to decline all the extra "offers" before you can get to your receipt.  Also, one word of warning, their $49.00 amount really ends up as $62.00.  But if you're also willing to roll the dice, it may be just what you "need".  Oh, and there is no reason it "has" to be used outdoors, although I will.

Oh, websites like this I usually have little trust for, so I never use my debit or credit card with them and use PayPal instead.

Okay, so here we are, a bunch of old dudes into gaming and other tech toys.  Well, what one item could we ALL use?  How about a mini video projector for around  $55.00 that will work with a USB stick, WiFi, HDMI, composite, and Bluetooth?  This way you can watch videos or play your legacy video games on a huge display.  Amazon currently has one on special << HERE >>.
I think the reason it's so inexpensive is because while it supports 1080P input, it only outputs 720P (1280 X 720) which is still bigger than many legacy video games output.

Also if you want to buy some inexpensive stocking stuffers, how about a "kickstand" for your cell phone?  This way you can finish that movie anywhere without having your hand go numb.  << HERE >>

Not only will your coffee stay hotter longer, you'll be able to tell when it starts cooling down by the speed of the flywheel!

Okay, this one is cool, and they've been around for decades, but it's expensive and has a 5 year warranty.  One should know though that they all eventually fail.

I sent them a message stating that if they don't ship it this week, instead of doing a product review on YouTube, I'll be doing one on their lousy customer service instead.

Okay everyone, prepare to be totally blown away on this one.  First a little back story, the singer Amy Lee from "Evanescence" has a powerful and haunting voice.  The Japanese "Wagakki Band" mixes traditional Japanese instruments with contemporary western instruments for a heavy to metal sound.  Combine those, with the full orchestra they have behind them in this video and you might just reach another level of bliss when you hear this.
    CRANK IT UP!

It will be fascinating to learn the backstory here.  Judging by condition, it looks like it was hidden away all these years.  In an attic, garage, or basement.  NOT on display by a big collector, that's for sure.  Maybe the thief didn't really understand what they had.  Or maybe they were too afraid to have it out on display.
My imagined theory is that an old uncle died, and the nephew inherited a house full of stuff.  The asking price of $1000 tells me they had no idea what they had.
Thanks for fixing the orientation.  I fixed it before posting, and it shows correctly on my computer...but uploading it here shows it the wrong orientation again.

I'm guessing here, but I doubt the person who originally stole it back in 1978 was the one putting it up for auction.  Because the person who stole it is probably a senior citizen, if not dead by now.  Also the thief had to know it's value and that putting such an iconic piece of Americana online would attract unwanted attention.  Now it could very well be part of an estate sale by a family member, who knows.  But yeah, it's interesting.
Sorry, but I had to re-orient the photo, it was driving me nuts.

It is the original 3 ft model used on the original pilots and series (you can tell when it's the 3 ft model when there is no internal or nacelle lighting).  Stolen from Gene Roddenberry in 1978 (he loaned it out to a special effects firm, but it was never returned)...never to turn up again until now in this e-bay auction.

    Here's a pic in Gene's office:

And here's a pic from the auction

At this point, it is unknown what is going to happen with this.  I imagine lawyers are involved.  Stay tuned, as this is really exciting news for Star Trek fans.
