Arenafoot Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 I never have played D&D except the Intellivision version game AD&D. greenween Posted February 19, 2015 Author Report Posted February 19, 2015 I have been playing/ collecting since I was 12, so 1984. I met another kid who had the basic set and "Keep on the Borderlands" He let me borrow them and I freaking loved it! I would stay awake all night during the summers designing a world that my friends would get to adventure through. It's an amazing concept in my opinion. As much as I love the Intellivision version, the graphics in my head were waaaaay better! "Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime."
Arcade Dude 44 Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Yeah, my oldest brother used to have friends over, he was usually the DM. I still remember the cool dice. My YouTube Channel: youtube.com/arcadedude44
Rowsdower70 Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 I am still an active D&D nerd. I cut my teeth on the red box basic set, and have played most versions since. I currently run a Greyhawk campaign (1st edition AD&D) on Roll20.net. "For you - Rowsdower from the 70 - have been appointed Omnivisioner of the Game Grid." ~ Atari Adventure Square
