RickR Posted May 23, 2022 Report Share Posted May 23, 2022 I was wondering if anyone has any of the business details (ie - what they paid, how the license transferred, anything like that) about Atari purchasing and re-releasing some of the Coleco 2600 games with Atari labels. Games like Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Venture. There must have been a license transfer, as I'll bet Nintendo wasn't happy about Atari selling Nintendo games at the time of the NES being out. It would be interesting to see what the arrangement was for both the Coleco and Parker Bros titles (Q*bert). The Nintendo titles were also on 7800.
