RickR
I saw a post about it on Facebook, and it looks so cool. It's a TI 99/4A emulator for Nintendo DS by Dave B. Please take a look at his Github page for download and installation instructions. I haven't tried it yet, but it is on my list.https://github.com/wavemotion-dave/DS994a - Ω -, MaximumRD and Retrospect
- Ω -
That is so cool! I don't have a Nintendo DS, but if a guy was really, really a TI addict that would be cool to take along on vacation. RickR 1 Quote <<< My YouTube Page >>>
RickR
I have a DS and the little R4 card they mention. I'll give this a try sometime. The DS Lite is a really nice item to have if you like to play old games on vacation. I take mine with me and it helps pass the time when on airplanes or when you have extra time in the hotel or airport.

RickR
I honestly have no idea. I'd guess somewhere between 5 and 8 hours? Last time we went on a cruise, I played it for long sessions and rarely charged it. The nice thing is that the power light changes from blue to yellow when it needs charging, so there's plenty of warning. MaximumRD
RickR
Here's what Nintendo support says: The Nintendo DS Lite has four levels of brightness. The battery will last 15-19 hours on the lowest settings, and 5-8 hours on the brightest. This can also vary depending on the type of game activity. Now before I even remotely consider one, I have to know up front if it can run the TELNET program and get on Heatwave BBS. RickR
I have no idea, but I doubt it. The DS Lite has Wifi, but it can't do WPA security (only WEP). - Ω -
Retrospect
It does look good. It's about the only reason I'd buy a Nintendo of any variety. I'm a coder not a gamer but this looks enticing. Maybe one day! RickR
