Checked out your blog before this and it's definitely a good idea! Seeing as how I already have a laptop though and multiple desktops that are a little less mobile, I just decided to upgrade to a USB version. At least this way, I have both! =)

Anyways, I'll probably just pickup a replacement board from best-electronics for $99 since the going rate for a 130XE seems to be between $150-$200.

Remember...the XE line was made on the cheap.  Cost cutting was the goal.  I've had much better luck with the XL or 400/800. 

OK...then how about a sign for the game room?

Thanks... I can't wait to actually use it, it'll hopefully prove to be a ton of fun! That Casio is so small! =) You should look up the DT100 digital tablet for the Roland S50 - I plugged my Atari Touch Tablet in and totally expect it to work exactly as those rare Roland branded versions!

When I was in school, I had a Casio Sampling keyboard that I had a blast with.  I think it was an SK-5.  Well, looking on ebay...those things are just about the same price as this Roland you have.  I think you've found a great deal.  I need to look into getting one of these. 

That thing is SWEET. 

Atari 8-bit computers are my favorite Atari to collect for.
