After a few non-gaming days & a bit of clean-up, I have completed my feature video on Greg Sakundiak and his perfect Pac-Man arcade run. This video posed some unique challenges for me as I usually edit highlight/shoutout videos for my show. Nonetheless, this was a lot of fun to create. Enjoy!

Starting this Tuesday night at 9:30pm ET, I will be joining Michael Sroka of Settle It On The Screen! The show will be part recap of the latest episode of Retro With Marco (which will precede the new show) and part discussion about various retrogaming topics. It will be unscripted and a departure from my own show format.
 
Michael and I have talked about collaborating and we're looking forward to our new venture.

Here’s my latest Shoutouts video ahead of Episode 33 of my show. This video features some new WRs including two records set within a few hours of each other, a record which broke a decade-old mark, and another new record which netted a $100 bounty! Just so you guys don't think I'm dead (because of no posts lately) -- although I'm sure @MaximumRD would respectfully report on it if I was, there's a new project I've been working on.  Restoration of a 2003 Subaru.  It's got a water leak (which makes it smell bad), and needs some engine work.  But I'm having FUN with it.  My father was an auto mechanic.  It feels good to get the hands dirty.
AND...I got a NEW JOB!  I start next week.  Should be lower stress.  I hope.

I thought I would be able to return sooner but that didn’t happen due to all of the non-gaming stuff which consumed my daily schedule. I then decided that I wouldn’t return until I was sure I could do so without rescheduling/canceling.
Life has slowed down to where I can return to retro gaming and return to Twitch with a new episode of Retro With Marco! I hope you will join me this Tuesday, October 15 at 9pm ET / 6pm PT when I will have the following:

Hello again! Here's the latest on my end:
 
All of the non-gaming stuff in my life ramped up significantly to where I postponed my Twitch show on a few occasions.
 
While work was rather hectic, it was still going well. However, it remained hectic throughout these summer months; I had to do a double-take when I realized it was the 2nd half of August.
 
Unrelated, but no less important: I went for a Wellness Visit (Physical) for the first time in far too long. I went for the proverbial full tune-up including a tetanus shot. (Wow, that part really sucked. I'm not going to sugarcoat it at all. You feel it for 2-3 days, and my body sure felt it.) The good news is that all of my vitals are normal and test results were negative. So let this serve as a reminder: Be sure to get a check-up especially if you're getting up there in age like I am.
 
I was hoping to stream an episode before an upcoming trip but that won't happen, unfortunately. I realized that I really hadn't kept up on any retro gaming news and world records, and I'd rather get back into the swing of things before getting back on Twitch. I had to put the MGL aside (I started off well but would have likely faded given the list of games chosen for this quarter, but I was having a lot of fun).
 
I'm glad to see that atari.io is still up and running smoothly and that the community here remains positive. I look forward to joining a Wednesday night chat in the near future.

MGL Update: I'm hanging in there given that Game #3 is Bubbles - A game I never played in arcades. I find the game very frustrating.
