No, Activision, founded in 1979, did not purchase Imagic or their games during their time developing games for the Atari platform. Imagic was a separate game publishing company that was established in 1981 and became prominent for developing video games for the Atari 2600 and other platforms of the era. While both companies were active in the same time period and produced games for Atari, there is no record or information indicating that Activision acquired Imagic or their game catalog.

I have learned that these were sold in Australia. I had someone in an Atari forum show me photos of the ones he had, he said he hasn't seen a Laser Gates one in a long time. He has a Cosmic Ark, Quick Step and Riddle of the Sphinx. Cosmic has a yellow lable, Riddle a red one and Quick a orange label. These are in Activision shells and are PAL versions.

So with Tac Scan, It turns on when you put it in the 2600+, the paddles don't work, the joystick doesn't either, I tried plugging both in both ports, nothing. I switched them around and plugged the joystick in the player 1 port and the paddles in the player 2 port and reversed them, nothing. I tried it in the OG Atari 2600 with the paddles on player one port and the joystick in player 2 port, it works fine. Haven't attempted to play it on the Retron77 yet to see how that goes.

Cold front dropped tonight after being 60 and sunny most of the day. Got One-on-One for the 7800 today for $7 super clean cart that looks to have been played like once.

I did not share this earlier, but on Tuesday I was making my normal commute when I was hit in the intersection while making a protected left turn. The other driver ran the red. Fortunately, I'm just a bit sore and we'll see if my car can be repaired or not.
Two good samaritans stopped to check on me. They both were rushed for work and didn't stick around for the cops but promised to send their dash cam footage and contact info. Fortunately, both followed through. I can't quit watching it. If I was a split second earlier into my turn, my one year old may not know her dad.
Just a reminder to hold your loved ones tight and do not take things for granted. I lost my father to a drunk driver over 20 years ago. No one has a guarantee on tomorrow.

I have seen and heard this story more over the last year than ever. I have been in like 10 close calls recently, just had one last evening when a car decided to pull right in front of me without looking and we were a piece of paper away from hitting each other if I was not paying attention. I just lost a cousin the week before Christmas who was hit by a distracted driver. Be safe out there, try to avoid looking at our phones as I try not to myself but I look around as I am driving and at stoplights and can't believe how many people are holding their phones and typing on them, or talking on them and not paying attention to the road. A friend of mine just posted their son got rear ended because of a distracted driver. Put him in the hospital, he was only half a mile away from getting home.

The risk paid off I guess. I have been lucky over the years when I have found lots of games or a small amount of them from individuals, most of which I purchased just prior to Covid or during that time, and rarely got any that didn't work. I have had a few, but the sellers have been very understanding and have either refunded me, gave me a comparable replacement, or allowed me to send them back. I have a couple of controllers I wish I could fix that were faulty.

No, it was cheaper than trying to purchase and chase them separately. I have not sat down to estimate what the value would be, especially since three of them were sealed. But I have seen a few of those games go for $30-$50 each on Ebay and Mercari, some for $10-$20 plus shipping, and I paid $100 for all of them.

I received my Evercade Atari Lynx Collection 1 yesterday. I like it, some good games there. I never owned one, didn't like handhelds back then as much as I do today. Now all that is left is the Atari Lynx Collection 2. Not super interested in that one, if I come across it I might grab it at some point.
