No, it was cheaper than trying to purchase and chase them separately. I have not sat down to estimate what the value would be, especially since three of them were sealed. But I have seen a few of those games go for $30-$50 each on Ebay and Mercari, some for $10-$20 plus shipping, and I paid $100 for all of them.

The risk paid off I guess. I have been lucky over the years when I have found lots of games or a small amount of them from individuals, most of which I purchased just prior to Covid or during that time, and rarely got any that didn't work. I have had a few, but the sellers have been very understanding and have either refunded me, gave me a comparable replacement, or allowed me to send them back. I have a couple of controllers I wish I could fix that were faulty.

I received my Evercade Atari Lynx Collection 1 yesterday. I like it, some good games there. I never owned one, didn't like handhelds back then as much as I do today. Now all that is left is the Atari Lynx Collection 2. Not super interested in that one, if I come across it I might grab it at some point.

What you just said about how you love all the games advertised on the back - you just reminded me that I didn’t just have an Atari Advantage poster on my wall when I was a kid - I had 3. One was the Atari Advantage graphic, the 2nd I put up turned around showing all of the 7800 games advertised on the back, and the 3rd was the 2600 version of the poster, showing all of the 2600 games advertised on the back. I was so fortunate to grow up that way.

The Lynx carts are two of my favorites. Definitely worth hunting down!
