  2. Grab your Spinach for Ep 356: Popeye (NES)
  3. Popeye is correct! You're closing in on the lead!
  4. From what I remember from reading the book, it is basically a mix of Willy Wonka, The Matrix and World of Warcraft. In the future, most people live most of their lives in a massive VR program called Oasis, including going to school and doing work. When the creator of the program died, he hid an Easter Egg in the program and whoever finds it will inherit it, but it's been years and no one has come close. Now young whipper snapper, who lives in the stacks (a poor, trailer park area, where the trailers are stacked vertically) is using his massive knowledge of 80's pop culture to try to find the EE, but there is a big corporation, and since it's big, it must be evil, and they will do anything to find it first. The author crammed a ton of pop culture references in the book, to the point that the story was almost used as an excuse to include them. The trailer shows the Iron Giant and Freddy, but I don't recall either in the book. Hopefully he will leave Atari 2600 Adventure in the movie and not replace it.
  5. Close. It is an early Nintendo Black Box game, but not that one.
  6. That is from the Disney Cult Favorite, The Black Hole. I got this awesome stuff form Rick! - Fun Fact #1: I had a complete Ghostbusters, but sold the cartridge thinking it was a loose double - Fun Fact #2: I've wanted to try In-N-Out before, but I just don't come across them in my part of the country, so these stickers will have to do!
  7. My first Wii-View! Ep 355: Pitfall The Big Adventure
  8. Time for more monkey business with Ep 354: Congo Bongo (Atari 2600)
  9. A challenge from The Retro League Podcast Ep 353: Circus Atari (Atari 2600)
  10. You'll go ape for Ep 352: Congo Bongo (Intellivision)
  11. I didn't notice that until you mentioned that! They are the exact same, except the Sega shell has no logo where the Imagic logo was. My guess is Sega made a deal with Imagic to use their shells, so they didn't have to make their own. A similar arraignment was made between Absolute & Activision in the late 80s.
  12. Lol, nope. Not a Gremlin. Hint: Based on an arcade game
