  1. A wanted to give a special thank you to Brett Weiss for sending in an audio submission for the next episode! If you have feedback or Christmas stories for the next episode, please send them by tomorrow.
  2. I'm pretty sure at the heart of the machine, it is still a VGS, but maybe slightly modified to bring down cost. It is still designed to play retro style games (8 to 32 bit style), but in their own cartridge format. I actually think it is smart that they have kept a lot of info under wraps so far. It is not likely they heard it from me, but during their first campaign I recommended they only released ideas and info when it was set in stone. One of the things that frustrated some followers was it seemed like details (such as price) changed too much as time went on. So far, I believe they are approaching the right way the second go around. February isn't too far away, so we should be getting more info soon.
  3. Summing up the Coleco Chameleon and what I noticed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHUw1Vytm0M

Thank you for sharing this No Swear

  4. Not at all. This won't affect true Jag fans and the general public most likely has no idea that it is from a Jaguar. As you may know, I had some issues with the original campaign. BUT it looks like they might be addressing some of my concerns with going for a lower price point, finishing a prototype and even keeping a lid on things until everything is good to go. The Coleco name is most likely being used to gain commercial support and main stream media, something most businesses need to be successful. Who knows? They may be selling this to stores instead of Kickstarter. Of course this will all come down to price and games. I am very interested what happens next.
  5. I think I already got everything in your for trade signature. If I listed this one the bay, I'd ask $20 plus shipping, that seems to be the going rate, but I'd sell it to any io member for $15 shipped. If that sounds good to you, just holler.
  6. Done! I wouldn't be surprised at all if RadioPoultry ends up beating it!
  7. I agree! The only reason I didn't post an NES score on it is because I know you were the MB NES Master here!
  8. I have the following loose games for trade or sale before I put them on the bay: NES - Original Mario Bros. 2600 - Crossbow, 2 label variations of Mario Bros.
  9. Thanks Justin! That's a cool video! (BTW, I think I still have the Pitfall High Score, but maybe you were being prophetic in Retrogamer beating me ) This was a lot of fun. And I don't think I ever won a high score contest before. I have never been a high score guy until events like this. It didn't mean much when the cartridge erased your score when you turned it off. And honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if RP made a last second winning entry. I don't know if I can participate in every HSS, I am definitely going to try the next game, since I already have it and will need to cover it on a future podcast.
  10. I understand. When you say 12:00 am on Dec 15th, some may read it that you have all day on the 15th rather than it's over on 15th. BTW, tried another game and got to 118,203 Crazy. And i can feel it in my hands!
  11. 129,928 I joined the 100k club! I was actually surprised I could do it. This time I did it on a Flashback 2 with Sega Genesis 6 button contoller (I also plugged in an Edladdin Seagull 78 so I could use the C or B buttons) PS- Sorry about the mono audio. I forget to plug in a splitter to the audio cable.
