  1. Layout is the same, but with one controller, you can't move and shoot at the same time. So for the 2 controller setup, you move the disc one one controller with one hand and shoot with the keypad with the other. That, or you can play the game on one of the collections for modern systems. I'm going to try to find my copy of Intellivsion Lives for the DS.
  2. That's a better idea than a maze game where you are trying to guide a drunk ET through a house, while at the same time guiding Elliot through a classroom avoiding frogs. (When Spielberg asked for a maze game, this must've been what he had in mind) Sorry Rick.😔 I had several games in the 600-800 range, but then I was finally able to destroy the first wave, which gave me some breathing room (in most games an AT-AT reaches the end before I lose my lives. They move pretty fast in this variation). 1664
  3. Fun Fact: For a long time, I thought Al Lewis reprised his Munsters role for the movie, like he kinda did (but he's Grampa in the game...not Grandpa...totally & legally different) for Midnight Mutants. Little did I know, it was someone else, who's playing a character inspired by Grandpa Munster.
  4. May prize giveaway, inspired by Star Wars Day. Entries will be at AA for this one. Next one will be on my Facebook, followed by another right here at the forums!
  5. The Mutant Virus: Crisis in a Computer World - NESThis card makes me want to try this game, which I didn't realize existed before.
  6. Checking out some just released, 2019 Score Hobby Packs!
  7. Opening a 2018 Donruss Hanger Box
  8. TROG! (NES) WIN A FULL SIZE ARCADE GAME! NO PURCHASE NECESSARY! (details inside)
  9. My cards ranger from the NES era to the PS1, Saturn, N64 era. My favorites are Atari and Genesis style, but sadly I have no Atari or TG-16 cards. Many years ago I was watching an auction for 4 Atari cards, but forget to bid before it ended. I was bummed I forget. One reason I'm posting these is I'm trying to go through my collection to thin it out. If anyone is interested, keep tabs on my ebay page. I already listed over ten for sale with more to come (as well as more scans for the thread) https://www.ebay.com/usr/integritygames
  10. They definitely got the 90's vibe going with the music and making Jim Carrey look younger. Hey, remember with he was miscast as a villain in the 90's? (Riddler) Maybe they're doing that to! That being said, I'll give it a shot when it hits Netflix or Prime.
  11. Hook had a lot going for it (Spielberg, Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, John Williams soundtrack), but failed to live up to it's hype. However, it's a decent popcorn flick if you lower your expectations going into. I do like the "losing your marbles" bit.
  12. As a kid, one of my favorite memories was going to Toys R Us, and flipping a bunch of display cards in the video game aisle. This were often made by a company called Vidpro and used in other stores as well. In this thread I will be sharing scans of some of my collection of Vidpro Cards. You can also see a large chunk of my collection in this video:
  13. Checking out some packs of 1990's Topps trading cards for the movie, Hook.
  14. How about TV shows? As a 7800 owner, I noticed the 7800 being played in My Two Dads and being sold in a store in Parker Lewis Can't Lose. As far as movies go, growing up it would have to be Krull. I owned the game before I knew the film existed. Nowadays I'd go with Cloak & Dagger. It's basically the Atari version of The Wizard.
  15. Superman can't fly or wear his suit? This is why comic book fans didn't always trust Hollywood. I like Cage, but don't think he would've fit. With the long hair, scrawny frame and that suit, he looks like he's about to attend Burning Man, not save the world. Imho, Cage is better suited to play a villain, like Toy Man, with his off kilter style of acting. However, Sandra Bullock as Lois and Walken as Brainiac could've been something special.
  16. You'll never guess what rare 2600 game I bought on April Fool's Day...
  17. Atari made 3 football games for the 2600. This is the last one they made.Ep 543: Super Football
