  1. Sorry. No. It does not take place in space (Fooled ya with that screen shot, didn't I?)
  2. Yes Please! I would like to hear more! How long did you work there?
  3. Game #39 Atari 2600 (this one might be tough)
  4. Btw, I need to correct myself. Another company is not making the Atari Box. Fergal Mac is the general manager of the project which apparently is being developed in house. BTW #2: Even though I was a bit interested in the Atari Box when they teased it, I am no longer interested due to the current high price point. So I am not trying to promote it. I just don't understand why it's being said that this isn't a "real" Atari system.
  5. I'm not sure I understand the big difference. Current Atari is behind this project too. Yes it is smaller scale, but the current Atari is a smaller company. Perhaps they aren't betting the farm on it, but that shouldn't be a surprise given there current history as a company that had to emerge from bankruptcy and is trying to stay profitable. As they got out of bankruptcy, they even stated they were going to try to be smarter in how the Atari name is used (Meaning, they weren't just going to hand it on to just anyone who wanted to license it).
  6. WOF is correct! This is from the intro screen. Here is another, clearer shot from the intro
  7. Would you like to buy a vowel? It's Ep 385: Wheel of Fortune (Sega CD)
  8. Kix & Qix! It's Ep 384: Qix (Atari Lynx)
  9. It is a real Atari product, but made by another company for Atari. This is not a new practice. GCC made the 7800 for Atari and the Lynx was originally made by EPYX. However, that being said, the guy heading up the Atari Box does not scream the same quality as GCC or EPYX.
  10. Don't you mean Lazers Blazing!?!?!? I actually did a short segment on the last episode of my podcast that covers what you're asking. Rather than typing it all out, I'll post a link to the video here cued up to the 12:00 mark when it starts: https://youtu.be/Fy-gQstbrM0?t=12m I will add a few more things though: Personally, I'd recommend making it family friendly to reach a larger audience. However, it's up to you. If you decided not to stay PG, I'd recommend making it clear on the onset to listeners, so if they have kids around (which a lot of us do) and they don't want them to hear certain stuff, they know to listen to it when they're around. And remember: Robotic co-hosts are the latest trend!!! Also, don't be discouraged if you start out with a very small audience. It is a VERY crowded field out there and you are covering a lesser appreciated system. But on the plus side, be prepared for some listeners just thrilled someone is covering the TG16. And finally, always keep first things first. For most of us, making a podcast our main job, so if you ever have to delay a show for your work, your health, your family, your faith and so on, that's OK!

  14. I thought of that one, but you can count how many matches you use, which could be a way to keep score.
  15. A viewer recently made a comment alluding to the fact that almost all 2600 games have some sort of a scoring system. It got me thinking: What non-homebrew 2600 games have no scoring of any kind? (For this question, I would include timers in games as a way to keep score) So far the only game I can think of is Adventure.
