  1. It's tempting, but for me personally, I'd rather have an actual Commodore 64 - especially if I can get a Commodore 64C (from when Commodore revamped the looks of the 128 and 64 to make them look a bit more like the Amiga) like the one I used to have before a friend claimed his mother tossed it out when he borrowed it from me. (No bitterness: he bought me a good sized hard drive to make up for it. :)  )

  2. I'm looking for feedback a future episode of the Atari 7800 Homebrew Podcast (you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play, or use this feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/homebrew78)

What are your thoughts on Sick Pickles and/or Fat Axl? These games will be covered on Episode 22. Deadline is 11:59pm CDT on Wednesday, October 18. I actually expect I won't get much feedback here given how these two games really aren't known well outside of AtariAge, but hey, why not ask?

You can also e-mail text or audio to homebrew78 -at- fab4it -dot- com.

Comments are welcome any time, including after the deadlines; any feedback from after the deadlines will simply be addressed during a later episode.

  3. Time for episode 21, everyone!

Another homebrew just recently released by AtariAge! (And of course, another Bob DeCrescenzo instant classic!) Is the game worth it even if you hate clowns? Only Sean knows. (Well...and maybe others who have played it.) Coming up in two weeks with episode 22: obesity, Hallowe'en, and...Barbra Streisand???

What are your thoughts on Super Circus AtariAge? This game will be covered on Episode 21. Deadline is 11:59pm CDT on Wednesday, October 4.

  5. So it's come to this: the last episode of Pie Factory Podcast for the summer! Jim and Sean wax poetically about each of their adventures the great summer of 2017 has thrust upon them, and they make their fall predictions.

Oh, wait...never mind; they never got around to doing that. Instead, they talked about classic arcade video games. Maybe episode 63? Only time will tell.

  7. Heh...you're not the only one who pronounced it duosyllabically. :)  Ken actually spelled it phonetically for me last year...

BTW, I actually prepped all my notes for the Armor Attack episode, and when I sat down to start recording it, I realized that I was supposed to do the b*nQ episode -- I got the two backwards! So I had to scramble and put together b*nQ at the last second, and I recorded it all in one sitting! Then because of a...disturbing...incident involving a former Gottlieb employee (not going to discuss it publicly -- especially here, because this is too friendly a board for such a disturbing incdent, but it made the local news -- and it was NOT Jeff Lee), I actually had to re-record part of it...

But this was the first time I ever recorded an entire episode in one sitting -- usually I record it in bits and pieces before I leave for work and then put it all together when it's done...been a crazy series of episodes!
