AlamoAtari Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 Just saw one today on shopgoodwill. I never heard about it, so I had to look it up. Here's for your viewing pleasure! http://www.fndcollectables.com/CHANNEL_F_INFO/INTERNATIONAL/Adman_Grandstand/Notes/ANDY_ROBOT/andy_robot.html http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions/Vintage-ANDY--Robot-by-AXLON-Use-with-Atari-800-27097659.html
Justin Posted January 22, 2016 Report Posted January 22, 2016 Nice post Alamo, I love Andy! Andy was a smaller "toy" version of the robots Nolan Bushnell developed at his company Androbot. Andy reminds me of Nintendo's R.O.B. and Sega Chan. Andy was made by Nolan Bushnell's toy company Axlon, which was also a developer of Atari 2600 games like Secret Quest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Fa72rj6OzE

AlamoAtari Posted January 22, 2016 Author Report Posted January 22, 2016 Ohh now it makes sense. I was wondering why it wasn't a big thing. It looked like a cool concept.
Justin Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Here is a nice photo of Nolan's full size Androbot TOPO
