Retro Play
With Halloween coming around the corner, I sat back and though to myself, what classic games would I like to play, at Halloween time, to ad to the spirit of the season! Here is what I came up with! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tp7URwMvmLI There are lots of games for each console, but too many to cover. These games are the most popular. RickR, greenween, StormSurge and 4 others
Sabertooth
That's a fun list. I'm surprised at how many 2600 games made it. I was considering something similar the other day but most and most of my favorite retro horror titles are on the 5th generation. Here are a few (16) in no particular order: Resident Evil (SAT/PS1) Resident Evil 2 (PS1) Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1) Medievil (PS1) Legacy of Kain 2: Soul Reaver (DC/PS1) House of the Dead (SAT) Alien Vs. Predator (JAG) Doom (JAG) Friday the 13th (NES) Escape from Monster Manor (3DO) Xenophobe (Lynx) Haunted House (2600) Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse (NES) Ghouls 'n Ghosts (GEN) Midnight Mutants (7800) Night Warriors (SAT) Also, while I wouldn't consider them "retro" due to their release dates/platform, I really love the DS Castlevania games Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia. They probably top my favorites in that series. Edited October 24, 2017 by atarilbc MaximumRD
atarifan95
Return to Haunted House is my favorite 2600 Halloween game, because it uses the same game engine as Adventure, one of my all time favorite games.
