PotatoBox
I honestly wished they would have released that Tempest game that was in development for the 2600. That would have been great.

PotatoBox
Have you played the prototype game? http://www.atari2600homebrew.com/tempest.html I heard about that, but you know, I would have preferred an official release back in the day. slobu
Treasure of Tarmin should have been released. It feels like a huge tease that it was demoed at some expo and then never seen again. Please check out my Atari 2600 party favors at https://theloon.itch.io/ Downloadable games include Upp Plus Plus, Stranglehand, Nitebear on Sleepystreet and more! Atari 5200 Guy
I'm with the vote for Tempest on the 2600. It would have been interesting if it would have used the Driving controller as well. Other than that, I was with the 5200 when everyone else seemed to be on the 2600 bandwagon. If I were to choose games that didn't make it I would believe a port of M.U.L.E. might have done well. If you are looking for arcade games that didn't make it I would pick, lol, OutRun, Alien Syndrome, Data East's Speed Buggy, and Space Harrier. If the 2600 could do rainbow effects in some of the exclusive titles then it could perform a 3D environment in a Space Harrier fashion. Maybe not easily but I believe it could do it. As it stands the 2600 impressed me when it got a port of Double Dragon. Double Dragon! On the 2600!! During the NES and Master System craze at that. So that is impressive work as far as I am concerned and shows that the 2600 was still an able competitor against the modern machines of the time.
