Over the last two weeks I've shared what is in my opinion are some of the greatest NES videos on YouTube covering the inception of Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda - next let's check out the incredible story of how Metroid came into being and was designed to be as different from Super Mario Bros. as possible! This video contains nearly 90 unique Secrets, Codes, Glitches, Development Stories, and bits of Forgotten Lore about one of the most beloved NES games of all time: Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Famicom. Atari 5200 Guy Posted January 7, 2022 Report Share Posted January 7, 2022 MT Punch Out!! I had and I while I did dig deep into it I didn't play it as often. Without cheat codes I did eventually beat the game but that was not easy. The first game I absolutely felt like I had no other option but to use a cheat code was Blaster Master. I could make it most of the way through the game without cheats. That last level I could never figure out so when I got a Game Genie I used an unlimited lives code. That's all I used. I didn't care if I lost a life or not, I just wanted to figure out that last level. And the frog in that game was probably one of the toughest bosses in the game.
