I cleared all 24 levels of Bagman Strikes Back v1.3 for the C64 late last night. I was surprised yet relieved to reach the end. I was lucky to have recorded the run. I'm hoping to upload it to YouTube by tonight.

I had to postpone the show to this coming Wednesday due to a lot of non-gaming stuff taking precedence. I'm working my way back to the retrogaming sites & Discords, though.

I hope those who are in California are safe from the fires that continue to rage throughout the state. The winds appear stronger this year, making it more challenging for firefighters to contain the fires.

Also, I'd like to confirm that the calendar is in accordance with our respective time zones. I'm in CA so my show tonight would go live at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. I'm hoping those in other time zones can see it listed correctly.

I managed to get PlayStation running on OpenEmu and I'm going to play Wipeout XL for the 1st time in about 20 years. This should be fun lol.

I need new controllers. I'm open to all suggestions.

I played Wizard for the C64 this weekend as it's this month's High Score Challenge over at EverythingC64. Wizard is a platformer which will remind you of Jumpman (though it was designed by another company altogether). Your wizard, named Wilfred, can gain a spell every level upon grabbing a key which is also used to escape.

I purchased the 8bitdo SN30 wireless controller, mainly for Antstream but also in hopes it will work for Steam.

The big question: Will Bentley Bear pick up his pace? Will he enter a full sprint or a light jog? 🤣
