      No, Activision, founded in 1979, did not purchase Imagic or their games during their time developing games for the Atari platform. Imagic was a separate game publishing company that was established in 1981 and became prominent for developing video games for the Atari 2600 and other platforms of the era. While both companies were active in the same time period and produced games for Atari, there is no record or information indicating that Activision acquired Imagic or their game catalog.

      What does it mean when it says that information "needs Cited"? So Activision sold some Imagic titles apparently in Australia using their shells, that makes sense. Back then, nobody would really know.
