  1. Finally got a chance to run through the events tonight. It's amazing how close our scores are in some events. At this rate, we'll all medal! Here are my scores: Bobsled: 28.17 Ski Jump: 199.2 Speed Skating: 0:30.3 The Biathlon: 03:25
  2. Sorry, Dig Dug just sold on ebay, but I just pulled the other two. Are you still interested in just Pole Position and Battlezone?

  5. 1 Week To Sign Up! I'm still putting it together, but I already have a lot of the big name, retro gaming companies represented including Atari, Coleco, Mattel, Nintendo,Sega & Sony. I also have some obscure games, some stuff you've seen on my show and some stuff that you haven't.
  6. 74 officially plus a handful of homebrew style releases. What kind of games do you like. From the four games I recently reviewed, Pinball Jam is tops, but I only recommend it to video pinball fans. Growing up, some of my faves included Xenophobe, Xybots, Electrocop, Ninja Gaiden, Lynx Casino and even Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, although some of those may not hold up well today. I would recommend staying away from Hard Drivin and Kung Food.
  7. Your in CA, right? Alright! Now we have six! (Not mailing order) 1) NSG TN 2) RickR OR 3) TrekMD FL 4) correagonzalez VA 5) Willie! NC 6) btbfilms76 CA?

  11. Don't let that stop you! That's always been the rule and you've always been great with these! And if you get delayed by work, no big deal in my book! We can wait for Willie!
  12. Retro Junk Box XI Starts Next Month! I will be hosting this time. Here's how the Retro Junk Box works What It Is: Someone fills a large USPS Priority Mail Flate Rate Box full of retro-related items and sends it to another member. They take out what they want, fill it back up and send it to the next person. It keeps going until it returns to the original sender. History: The first Retro Junk Box started by the Nintendo Retrocast forums and continued as a collaboration between The Retro League and Cartoon Retrocast podcasts. It has also been done by The Retroist and The Retro Junkies Network. Who Can Participate: This is open to members in good standing who have reached Orange Status* (or successful traders with at least 50 posts here), have been a registered Atari I/O member for at least 90 days, live in the US and have been active in the forums or chats during the last month. (See your Avatar to see the fruits you have earned). * Orange Status is mysteriously rewarded between 100 & 150 posts. What is Required: Participants must send the box out within 3 days of getting it, pay for the postage to send it out ($18.90) and must post a photo or video of what they took out. (leave the rest as a mystery!) Items Taken Out MUST Be Replaced With Items Of Equal Or Greater Value: The Retro Junk Box celebrates the generous and friendly spirit of the forums! Those who participate will be expected to contribute to the spirit of the Retro Junk Box, and must replenish the box with items of an equal or greater value than what they chose to take out. Those who abuse the generosity of other participants will be denied the opportunity of participating again. Egregious violations will result in the offending member losing prize and event participation privileges, or worse, being removed from the site. Other Notes: Since it is free to do so with Priority Mail, I would insure the box for $50 to help pay to fill another one in the unlikely event that the USPS ever lost it. Please keep the box mostly (at least 51%) gaming related. Newer items are ok if they are retro related in some way. Please try to be fair in what you replace value wise and please no duplicate games on the same system. Please avoid putting in broken items/games if possible. Please use packing material to fill in nooks and crannies to prevent items from getting broken. (Plastic bags work good for this) Feel free to reuse and decorate the box! If you meet the requirements and agree to the terms, please let me know by responding to the thread along with what state you are located in by Feb 26th so we can begin to order the list. DO NOT POST YOUR FULL ADDRESS HERE ALSO-PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT SYSTEMS YOU COLLECT FOR WHEN YOU RESPOND ALONG WITH YOUR STATE (This will help me decide who goes first and the order)
  13. First of all, It's Great To See You Posting Here! This is one of the friendliest forum sites around. I'm not nervous about most of my older system, except for my Game Gears (which seem to go bad) and my disc based games, due to the potential of disc rot. But overall, I've been pretty lucky.
  14. They also did this killer set based on the TMNT arcade game!
  15. It's Chuck Rock meets Mario Kart Ep 414: BC Racers (Sega 32X)
  16. Let not the rolling stones and naughty ponds bother you! Ep 413: Bobby is Going Home (Atari 2600)
