Arenafoot got a reaction from slobu in Homebrew Titles that had 100 copies?
Currently NEO Games (Scott Dayton) does his limited editions in groups of 10-40. He only sells thru his FB group and not thru the AA forums anymore. Q*Bert Jump was 10 copies (at FPF 2018), Bouncer was 30 copies & Zombie Road Kill was 40 copies available in 2018 from him/NEO Games.

My "List" is live and living, at that link I gave you above and also at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11cd6MWV5ukETB9Q377kG80ufxAESPY6D/view
I try and update it on a regular basis (cell K2 date/time stamp).

I got the digital version also, which is all in color.  I'm going to guess printing the book in color will make it quite expensive.

That's pretty darn comprehensive!!  Thank you for the super huge spreadsheet of homebrew knowledge!
Yeah, I also remember Neo Games releases go into the 60+ range.  So, it may be more normal than I at first imagined.   Which is a great thing in general.  Still, a huge investment for one indie developer.
Hitting a viable 100 range seems to involve more remakes of already well known titles.  I dun think completely new, original titles have the same oomf.  Especially since I'm dirt dumb when it comes to publicity

Probably all of the heavy hitters in the AA store..... Stay Frosty 2 (180+ 1st run), Halo 2600 (150 copies 1st run), Syncart, Lady Bug (LE- 1st run), Space Rocks, Medieval Mayhem, Zippy..... (definitely known 100 copies: Another Adventure hack, Boulder Dash, FPF 2017 hack, Lasercade, L.E.M.)  Also alot of repros and prototypes were printed in 100+ copies too: Extra Terrestrials repro, Actionauts proto, Bugs Bunny proto, Combat Two proto, Looping proto, RealSports Basketball proto, Snow White proto
AA store has a live best sellers list at: https://atariage.com/store/index.php?l=product_list&c=bestsellers but Al doesn't give out actual numbers.
Hope this info helps you out.

I wouldn't do 100 copies to start out. Average is 10-30 copies. You can look at my comprehensive Atari 2600 homebrew list and do a search (Ctrl + F) and see the "xx copies" of said titles.

Avalanche was an Atari arcade game released in 1978 that was never ported to any home systems back in the day.  It did, however, inspire games like Kaboom! for the Atari 2600.  Here is an image of the arcade game:

In 2007, Champ Games created a home version of the game that we all forgot about (even I did and I posted in the thread!) and now, 12 years later, it is being brought to the light again as it will be seeing a cart release!  You can check the Atari Age thread here:  Avalanche.  A binary can be found there for download.  Champ is looking to make some improvements to the game before release.  Check out an image of the game as it stands now.

So, for my own personal interest (as well as my own game making reasons) I'm wondering how many new Atari 2600 games started at 100 copies.
I'm not sure I can plunk down for that many boards at a time being a one man game development house.  It sounds like a lot compared to other homebrew runs I've seen.
What's the average?  What have y'all seen in the past?

Update.  This thing is really dirty.  I opened it up, and replaced the battery connector.  On/off switch needed cleaning.  Now, it turns on, but I'm not sure what any of the buttons do.  I guess I'll have to read the manual.
At this point, I have everything drying.  All pieces have been washed.  Including carefully cleaning the circuit board.  I had to re-solder the speaker wires and glue the speaker down.  Once everything is dry, I'll put it all back together and hope that it works.
By the way, it uses 1 9V battery and 4 "D" cells.

I just purchased a Milton Bradley Big Trak on ebay.  It was in broken/parts/as-is condition.  The price was right, and I thought it would be fun to try and restore it.
For those that are unfamiliar -- the Big Trak was an electronically programmable toy vehicle from 1982.  More info here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Trak
I always wanted one, thanks to commercials like this:
I thought I could skip the apple and deliver a beer to my father.  Alas, the budget would never allow for this purchase.  Until now!
Well, the Big Trak arrived yesterday.  As advertised, in pretty sad shape.  Lots of dirt and grime, a broken battery terminal, and worst of all, a broken front axle.  So I immediately got busy.  I took apart the wheels and applied some epoxy to that broken axle.  Everything removed got washed.  Next steps are to take the top off and see what's going on with the electronics.  And replace that battery terminal.
I've got mixed expectations.  I think at the low end, I may end up with a Big Trak that is cosmetically good, but doesn't work.  I'd be ok with that...it will look great on a shelf.  Best case, I get it fully working.
The main body section, not yet opened:

    Broken battery connector:

Fixing Axel Foley.  Using a lot of epoxy will make it stronger, and it will still fit in it's slot.

    Removed parts have been washed.
