Alright so this is more of a story. First off here is the ad https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/gms/d/everything-for-sale/6508177106.html Closer to the bottom you can see "old Nintendo for parts" and "old Nintendo games" system is $15 the games $5. I message the seller and we talk. She says the reason it says for parts is because she doesn't want to get in trouble if it doesnt work and she doesnt know how to hook it up. I drive for a living and turn out she is on my route and would be super easy to meet her. So after a couple days of her not responding she finally responds and we plan to meet today. Im happy to get the system and more importantly see what games im getting for only $5 (she says theres a stack and she knows nothing about them) So i get to her house and she is waiting outside for me. I walk up to her and she goes inside to get it and here she comes out with a beat to hell xbox 360. I mean one of the sides of the shell was missing and all of the buttons on the front were gone. I asked her where is the Nintendo at. Shes like this is the Nintendo. I point out where it says xbox and she says "oooohhh you mean that old grey box with the tape games? I sold that and the games already" she hands me the xbox fames and they are literally all NBA games. I said thanks and goodbye!

Not sure if yall are seeing this but Adventure for the 2600 is blowing up on ebay right now! Loose ones are going for $50 or maybe more and a boxed one just sold for $150!!

Its always good to be friendly and try to make friends. I walked into gamestop today to buy Luigis mansion for the 3DS and the cashier says "hey your the guy who collects stuff right? I remember you asked me a few months back about a display box for the snes classic. I was working at another gamestop last weekend and they still had theirs and i grabbed it just for you. We are also putting up our new Nintendo poster for the month. Do you want last months kirby poster?" Yes please!!

Id say i did pretty good today. I got the Original DS for $10 and it had super mario 3 GBA in it so that was awesome. Some star wars and pokemon tous. Always cool.

Yea they hardly come up in my area, but it seems like when yhey do they are really cheap and gone in minutes. I have a pacman i got for $20 and i saw it said "posted 2 minutes ago" recently there was a donkey kong posted in my area for $15 it said "posted 15 minutes ago" i called and it was gone. This is why im looking all over. Ive had luck in the past with people shipping things to me from letgo across the country. Thats how i got my boxed Excalibur mini arcades

So recently ive found out that with the help of google you can search for stuff posted to Craigslist all over america. Ive found some interesting things and this is one of em sadly the guy wants $200 a piece on the coleco arcades

Found these at goodwill today. An AT Games genesis. Never had one and never really planned on getting one. has a great list of games on it. For $5 sure why not Next is a power adapter for the gameboy and gameboy color. $5

Found this burger King toy at a friends house we couldnt figure out how to get the Dpad to move so ge said it must be broken and i could have it. I actually remember these things and i want to aay that there is supposed to be a paper thin "gameboy looking" cartridge that makes it work? Or am i wrong? Is this thing broke?

One last question, what kind of retail displays were you able to take home? Ive alway been curious about neon signs. Did your TRU have any and if so do the Nintendo reps take them with them when the store is done with em or were they open for grabs?

Local game shop sold me a couple NES boxes. They are empty not even any Styrofoam.The others they had were more beat up than these so i passed on those. They also were selling a sears 2600 box but they wanted $80 for juat the box. I tjought that was too high so i passed on it. Maybe i can talk him down one day. He also threw in the genesis controller box for free. So anyone know where to get Styrofoam?

I had no clue there was a dragon ball z plug n play!! I want one now! Let me know if its worth tracking one down. Also where did that mario come from? Was he a McDonald's toy?

Found this stuff at goodwill today. Backwards compatible ps3. Sadly didnt comewuth the power cord and i only have a slim ps3 and they dont share thensame cord. Mario kart wii and shadow hearts ps2. Ive heard good things about shadow hearts. Anyone played it before? Also a "whos line is it anyway" VHS i love this show!!
