What? Atarilbc means the Jaguar is "the last true Atari" system, not iteration of the company name.

Hey Scientist, so happy to see you posting! I'm disappointed about the controllers too, that was a cheap shortcut they took, I guess at the last minute to get them out on time. You can get them rewired though and they'll still work. The Coleco controller actually feels a lot better imo than the originals.

Maximum RD, I saw your wii video the other day when you posted it on youtube. Looks like you got a nice package! Aggravating story about the import taxes though. Some people.. How do you like your wii compared to other consoles?

I like it enough that I will keep it and even consider some more titles, to be fair I don't get much play time and have not used it since making that video.

Description:
Intellivision & Colecovision UNBOXINGS !
Finally received the Pre-Order I had made several months ago! Though tempted to cancel due to some details that later came to light I decided to just wait it out and today I received both of the latest Flashback units from AtGames. These were purchased online from ToyR'Us in the USA and shipped to me here in Canada via iParcels (who seem to have done a fine job overall) I give lots of narration and details so please watch and listen and see for yourselves exactly what you can expect should you decide to pick either of these up. These units were about $40 USD (corrected from my video commented) plus an additional $35 to have both units shipped to my address. I mention both pros and cons of these systems as well should you be interested in the cables/adapters to make the Intellivision Flashback controllers compatible with the original console Buy the Flashback Controller Adapter Here:[/size]

This is a great review MaximumRD. I'm so disappointed the controllers don't work with the original systems! How marvelous that would have been!

So here's how I recall it. Each player had there own section of board they started with. The goal was to travel through each player's territory to gain a bronze, silver and gold key. Once you had the keys you could attack the "Dark Tower" for an epic battle to win! You would turn the tower on, enter how many players and it mostly did the rest. On your turn you move one space in any direction then press the corresponding key on the tower You had to buy soldiers and rations for them at bazzaars. When you moved you either had an encounter where you battle Brigands and the "tower" controlled the battle in a turn based fashion, Or got lost or the plague .The tower would display everything, complete with sound effects! Dragons, Gold, what's not to love!!! There was actually even more to the game than I described, just way ahead of it's time. Electronic D&D from way back!!!
