Joystick Recommendations

I do like the Flashback 2 controllers.  I know (stop throwing things at me!)...they don't feel quite right.  But they do seem to be sturdy and I've been using one with an emulator for several years with no issue.

I like the FB2 controllers too (except when the top pops off) but they are hard to find outside of the Flashback unit. I was thinking something like this:

 

 

They can be purchased in large lots or individually. Anyone have experience with these?

RE:  The flashback 2 joysticks...I see them all by themselves at Goodwill pretty often.  Usually priced at $3-$5 here.  I have extras if you want one from me.  Also, on the shafts unscrewing...a drop of "loctite" on the threads stops that nonsense.

Here's a pic of the Kraft stick.  Ugly as sin, but it works very nicely.  Added bonus - it has a switch on the bottom that makes it a 4-way only stick.

 

 

And here's the Slik Stik.  The button is way too small, but it and the stick work very well.  Not a lot of movement of the stick.  Really good for games that need tight controls.

 

I got a Slik Stik in a lot not terribly long ago, the Gemstik is no longer my favorite.  That beauty is comfy as can be, and the controls are spot on.

They just needed to make the button a little bigger, and Slik Stik would have been perfection.
