Supposedly FREE Star Trek Game

Has anyone played << THIS GAME >> yet?

It's been out for a while, but I haven't tried it.  My understanding is that you have to pay for basic functionality, like less waiting for missions and repairs and such. 

Maybe you should try it and let us know what you think.

Actually that is why I was asking.  I would never ask someone to try it out  for me, but if they had already tried it, I'd like their input.  I've learned in life to be wary of the word "free" as it's usually a lie.

I think that is correct in this case, but I don't know for sure.  A lot of on-line games like this can be free if you are willing to put up with more ads, more waiting, and less bling. 

Hopefully someone here has tried it and can fill us in.

I haven't tried it either, so I can't give you any feedback about it.
