Arenafoot
After working though the ROMs on the AFP (with others over at AA), I have gone thru and renamed the ROMs to the correct game titles, deleted games that do not work/can't be played, and added some homebrews - even added the hacks that have been made for the AFP! As usual, download and unzip the file, put the ROMs in the first folder named "Game" on the SD card. It should load into your AFP with 67 pages (about 667 games in total). Let me know what ya'll think ......any changes? Enjoy! my updated ROM set for the AFP as of 2/12/17 here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/258970-atari-flashback-portable-faq-and-compatibility-list/ Game.zip Edited March 8, 2017 by Arenafoot fergojisan and greenween 2 Quote Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne
Arenafoot
Well, I received two new 128 MB SD cards, but my memory card reader on my computer has broken. Sad. I'm going to order a cheap-o USB card reader from Ebay. What kind do you all use? Any recommendations? I'm using a SanDisk 2GB SD card (non-HC) class 2, with no problems. I still have about 1.7GB of music on it with the AFP ROMs loaded on it too. Arenafoot
I ordered this Sony PS Vita hard case from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019ST95YK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's cheaper than the other one I have posted earlier in this thread. It is a little bigger than the AFP but serves its purpose. Thinking about using some electrical tape over the Vita logo and ordering one of these to put over it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181993251473 http://www.ebay.com/itm/121689578121 Atari Creep 1 Quote Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne

RickR
Sweet! I was the first to download your new rompack for flashback portable. Thanks, AF. Question: Do you name the file? Or is that done by someone else on AA? My suggestion would be to give it a better name. Instead of Game.zip, maybe FlashbackPortableRomSet20171206.zip. I kept it simple for those just getting the AFP - and that it would match the folder name needed for the AFP to recognize it on the SD card. Arenafoot
I just found out that Gamestop has Wii SD cards (1GB & 2GB) for $.99 each - and several of them around where I live!! I just bought 2 2GB card's today for $2.13 with tax! I just had to format each (Fat32), create the folder "Game" and copy and paste the ROM's into that folder and it worked like a charm. One card has my 1001 working ROM pack loaded on it and the other has the newer ROM's since my last release. Here's: the links for the SD cards at GS: https://www.gamestop.com/accessories/wii-dsi-memory-sd-20gb/74306 https://www.gamestop.com/accessories/wii-dsi-memory-sd-10gb/74305 Quote Brian Matherne - owner/curator of "The MOST comprehensive list of Atari VCS/2600 homebrews ever compiled." http://tiny.cc/Atari2600Homebrew author of "The Atari 2600 Homebrew Companion" book series available on Amazon! www.amazon.com/author/brianmatherne
Arenafoot
I sold my extra SD card on the AA forum but I'm trying to find more of them from my local Gamestops. I undercut the person on eBay that is selling my work at $23 per SD card (he's sold 89 of them already as I write this - https://www.ebay.com/itm/SD-Card-W-1-000-FULL-LIBRARY-for-Atari-2600-Flashback-Portable-Games-Player/273473915386 ) Let me know in a PM if anyone is interested in buying one. Yes they are! 1001 working ROM's in alphabetical order, no ".bin" showing on the screen, and the one incorrect ROM I mistakenly included on the ROM pack floating around the net, is fixed too. I have come up with 24 newer (2018-2019) homebrews that work on the AFP and can include these too (they will be listed after the 1001 A-Z ROMs on the screen).
