    Well, the new machine arrived today.  Much to my chagrin, the DVD drive is an external drive that is connected via USB.  I'll have to find a way to set it on the top part of the machine.  Maybe I'll use velcro.

      So weird.  It is hard to find a case with an optical drive bay anymore.

      I know.  The only ones with an optical drive bay were lesser machines.  I want this to last.
