  1. Can't wait to get mine! Great job guys! Another killer release. The A8 classic, now on the 7800. ๐Ÿ˜„
  2. Really cool! I actually just dl the updated STe version yesterday.
  3. Anybody want these? My son outgrew them. 2 sets, each box has the car, 4x gates, and 2x arrow track pieces. Shoot me an offer for one or both. ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. I was gonna order one at the some point. I have ordered plenty of other repro games from Ali, and don't see why it would be a scam. Jag cart PCBs are pretty simple.
  5. Tape up your glasses, grab your pocket protector, and slap this in your stocking. Very cool, very Tron. ๐Ÿ˜„
  6. Oh neat it is like one of the kinetic sculptures that art guy Arthur Ganson makes.
  7. All good points Peter. ๐Ÿ™‚ The Lynx and Turbografx are good examples of 8-bit CPUs not mattering. The graphics chips and clever design make them punch above their weight. The TG-16 was hitting games that were on par with the Genesis and SNES.
  8. This and the Tube clock are neat. I do not understand the second one though. ๐Ÿ˜…
  9. Giga Pet just released the new interesting virtual pet if you feel like the 90s. Most so far have been rehashes of 90s pets. I was surprised to see Cryptids. Pretty unique idea. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here.
  10. I would go for this. ๐Ÿ˜› The Lynx uses the 65C02S, if I remember right. Western Design Center produces these in large volumes, last I checked. So we could at least have the original processor. I have one in the drawer, I got from them, but that was 20 years ago. ๐Ÿ˜„
  11. The Play it Loud! Campaign was great. Loved those coloured shells, and the translucent one. I thought this was the cool ad. Never used this controller though, but I remember seeing them.
  12. 7800 is my goto also. I have a 4 switch. I think a Telegames. I don't use it as much because the 7800 Parallel Port unit I have is just so handy.
  13. Agreed, that is some killer box art for Conan. ๐Ÿ˜„ A certified classic, though I never played this version. ๐Ÿ˜›
  14. Good games. ๐Ÿ™‚ I used to like Marble Madness on the NES, how is it on the GB? Haha that could be, the old heated rivalry. ๐Ÿ˜›
  15. It's hard for me to get my copy off the high shelf now, so these are not mine. ๐Ÿ˜› I technically did not buy them just for the boxes, but had to keep them, and put them on display in my home. ๐Ÿ˜„
  16. ๐Ÿ˜› Knowing Jack it was probably the cheapest cereal they could advertise with.
  17. Great Video. :3 Buran is a beauty even in old age.
  18. I love the Buran shuttle. Sad the fate of the Buran programme, but was a beautiful ship.
  19. Nice! The GB Pocket is my favorite form factor. I never had an original Gameboy, could never afford one. Then in 1996, I finally got one, it was cheap enough at Toys 'R Us. I got a Silver GB Pocket and Mega Man II for the Gameboy. Played the heck out of it. Weird that the older boy hated the Gameboy. Plenty of good NES games like Castlevania, Zelda, and Final Fantasy on there for older kids. My brother and I wanted both Pokemon Red and Blue, he got Blue, I got Red, we shared my Gameboy every 30 mins. That cramped the style of playing Pokemon, but we made it work. ๐Ÿ˜› The IPS kits for GB Pockets are easy to install. I installed an older backlight in my Black GB Pocket, but the IPS ones blow those old ones away. I am going to put one in mine once I get an extra $60. They are a nice quality of life improvement, though I don't mind the original GB Pocket screen it's nice. I read a paper I wrote in High School, about my time from Primary School to HIgh School. Apparently in 7th grade Science Class, I'd just sit in the back of the class and play my Gameboy. ๐Ÿ˜›
  20. The ST is the more beautiful machine anyway. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Neat I never saw a Compumate ad before.
  21. I read this letter from a retailer during the launch of the N64, back in the day. It always stuck with me. Your blog post reminded me of it @Video 61. Small retailers and distributors don't get enough credit.
  22. Very cool. You are making like the Black GBC carts that are compatible with the GB and GBC. ๐Ÿ™‚ Very cool. Are you using Z80 ASM, C, GB Studio, or something else? ๐Ÿ˜„ I was doing GB development years ago in C with GBDK. I forgot most of the Z80 ASM, and didn't want to re-learn it, it's one of my least favorite CPUs. ๐Ÿ˜›
  23. You probably remember William Shatner, Bill Cosby, and Alan Alda promoting computers, but do you remember King Kong Bundy? ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
