    I'm sure that the number of orders has increased significantly this weekend. Therre's been a lot of good, positive feedback on Twitter, along with several fans asking how they can get their hands on this printed issue.

    UPDATE: My issue arrived within the past 30 minutes! How it got through LA traffic so quickly...we may never know lol. The magazine was shipped in a sturdy envelope. I will show it off during this Wednesday's show!

    This is a very impressive collection from one of the all-time greats. My personal hope is that Attack of the Mutant Camels for the C64 is actually Gridrunner 2: Matrix. (TL;DR - Matrix was released as Attack of the Mutant Camels in the US before the Llamasoft version of the same name.)

    • Retro World Series at the Abilene Comic-Con in Abilene, TX (Twitch)
    • RGLTV presenting the 2023 Coin-Op Classic (Twitch)

    That's not listing the new monthly challenges both here at Atari.io as well as the EverythingC64 High Score Challenge for December, which is Mega Apocalypse. Oh, and there's the #MegaDriveChallenge and the #RBGHighScore challenge on Twitter/X.

    I'm taking part in this one, whether it's via BigPEmu or VCS. Good luck to all of the participants! I do have a question re: Atari 50. I've yet to purchase it for the VCS. I spotted Atari's tweet with an announcement for Tuesday morning at 9am ET. Should I wait until then to purchase Atari 50 or should I just purchase it straightaway?

    Q*Bert and Joust are also in the 5 Minute Challenge. I played Q*Bert ages ago & remain impressed by the port. I had never played 2600 Joust prior to the challenge & I was really impressed. The floating eggs are a nice wrinkle.

    This is a wonderful thread. I'm taking part in the Atari 2600 5 Minute Challenge over at TG, and it features 31 games for the Atari 2600. A few of those games have always had some personal replay value, including (in ABC order): Enduro Ms. Pac-Man Phoenix It's no coincidence that many games listed in this entire thread were designed by Actiivision. @sramirez2008, it's nice to see a Starplex as I never owned one, nor knew anyone who owned one.

    Thanks for sharing! This looks really neat. I would like to give this a mention on my Twitch show. I usually broadcast every two weeks but I'm streaming a special episode this coming Wednesday which will feature retrogaming tournaments and challenges.

    Here is the Club VCS Fanzine segment from last night's show. This video has been edited slightly from the original airing; I did share the link in the chat. I apologize in advance for any errors during the segment; I've been juggling personal matters, one of which I talked about at the end of the show. I can say that the fanzine segment was well-received by the viewers. They pointed out the 1980s style and layout. Enjoy the segment!

    Thanks for your post as I could not recall which game was released first. For the record, I played 2600 ESB first and then the arcade game whenever possible.
