On November 27, I ordered these books from an ebay seller who was located about 30 minutes from me. In hindsight, I should have asked if local pickup was an option. It would have saved made quite a bit on shipping and saved me time and aggravation. The package was shipped promptly enough but USPS decided to take a detour, and it traveled to the midwest, southwest, Cali, and then back to Seattle. Actually, I was not expecting to see the package for a couple of more weeks, so it arrived sooner than I expected 😂
Probably like many here, I have a lot of nostalgia for COMPUTE! magazine. I bought many of their Atari books back in the day, and those books are one of the few relics that I have in my possession from back in the day. I may go hunting to see if I can obtain the remaining couple books from COMPUTE!'s Atari 8-bit books.
I may need to start a catalog of my computer books. I didn't realize I already had the assembler book.

Just save the URL, because when you reach the limit (I think 10), you'll need to exit and restart the browser to reset their counter.

Wow that is awesome!  My parents have quite a few BW pictures that I could process on this page.  I'll check this out.  Thanks!

I just ordered a Pixel 7 Pro for my dad from Amazon.  They had it on sale at 50% off, so it ended up costing less than the 7a!  It should be arriving tomorrow.
Here are a couple of non-gaming arrivals...

A little decor to the nerd cave...
I've been wanting to get the Indy cartridge holder for a long time. I think I bought the loose cart last year. I finally pulled the trigger on the cartridge holder when Etsy recently offered a $5 coupon. I bought it from thetdshop. I'm a fan of the cartridge holders.

A local gamer sells among other things dioramas. She 3D printed the cartridge shells and game elements.

Do you have any old black and white family photos?  Do you want to colorize them, but don't have the talent or skills?  Try <<THIS SITE>> !!!  It's free, and easy!  Just slide the image over, and press go!  I tried it out a couple of minutes ago with a test image and here were my results!

Maybe you can dedicate your old cellphone to a new task now?  Today I was going through a box and found an old obsolete Chromecast device, instead of throwing it out, I paired my old cell phone with the Google Home APP and started casting my light bulb camera to it.  I was a little bummed out that the light bulb camera only works with cell phones, but you know the old saying, "Where there's a will, there's a way!"

I decided to get with the times and get an Echo Dot as they a really cheap.  Amazing what it can do, I feel like I'm on the deck of the USS Enterprise telling the computer what to do.

I'm Cookie Peppermint, but I'd prefer to go by my last name first because Peppermint Cookie sounds better.

I remember that episode, with Quark talking with Garrack about how the Federation was sickening sweet, like Root Beer, but after awhile you get to like it...

Not that I need any of these, as I have dust covers for every console that I own, but I found this on Etsy and had to have it. I also purchased a couple more for my Heavy Sixers.

Sadly no, the TIPI cannot emulate memory.  When it came to the cards, I removed both the RS-232's, one with the HDX mod, as they were no longer necessary with the WiFi capabilities of the TIPI/RPi.  Yes, I do have a few specialty cards that keep me tied to the P-Box, but honestly for what little use I get from them, 95% of the time, when I actually use my TI, I could get along just fine with the TIPI/32K sidecar setup.
If I were to make suggestions to people just entering the TI world, my suggestions would be, in order of purchase...
    1) FinalGROM cartridge
    2) TIPI/32K Sidecar
    3) F18A VGA video upgrade
    ... then later ...
    4) Speech Synthesizer
