  1. Don't know if any of you heard yet but Ted Dabney passed away today. https://kotaku.com/atari-co-founder-ted-dabney-dies-at-81-1826349679

I have consoles for all these games except for the CDi, trs80 and the game.com. I just realized my Atari 8 bit carts aren't there. I believe I have about 12 games for that as well. So +12 on the above total.
  3. So my mom has a friend who worked at a TRU distribution. With the closure of the stores, she lost her job as the distribution warehouses closed as well. She knew I used to go there quite often and she gave me this the other day. This shirt is pretty cool. Made me think of all the times I went there as a kid.
  4. I've been so busy unpacking into the new apartment, I forgot about my own thread! ???? Well during all the chaos, I managed to find these 2 tv stands both on OfferUp. Pretty happy with them. They fit perfectly where I wanted them. I paid $45 for the flat panel stand and $10 for the CRT stand. I'm really happy with them. I have to finish hooking up everything but I took some time out to play some Ice Climber for the squad challenge. I'd say that the game room is about 95% clean. I just have a small mess in the closet. I'm pretty happy with the way it's coming out!
  5. I love ps1 long boxes. Wish I had more of them. I've never seen that one before though
  6. I finally got a stand for my CRT and I put it on myself.... .....that wasn't the best of ideas. It's crazy how light some of these lcd TV's are. My 49" is lighter than my 47" lcd.
  7. I got a great deal on it but too bad it's missing Link. I might mount a master sword in the middle if it isn't too much trouble.
  8. You should pick up an SNES classic controller meant for the SNES mini. They work on a modded Wii also I believe.
  9. Finally! An awesome Goodwill find for me! Mario sunshine was inside the GameCube!
  10. The stand is only about 35 miles away from me. Which doesn't sound all that bad. Honestly id have to take the 91 freeway over there. That's like one of the nation's worst freeways. It'll probably take like 2.5 hours round trip. Working a bit more in the game room again. So messy. Can't wait for it to be done!
  11. I love my BotW store display. A buddy of mine got 2 of them and he game one to me. He knows im a big Zelda guy. Im going to have to share my other store displays later. As far as a stand, there is a matching stand specific to that TV. I have actually located one but it's a pretty far drive. I might just go get it. This is what it looks like.
  12. The beginning. I love the 5200. It's vastly underrated. I love it. It looks so good! It took me, my brother and an appliance dolly to bring it up 15 steps to the 2nd floor. Just found the user manual online. It weighs 171 pounds. Not really sure what I'm gonna do with it yet.
  13. I should have taken a pic of all the mess. ???? I just started moving into my new apartment today. I have about 90% of my games there and only a Super Nintendo I didn't know I had that I found in a random box I had in storage. There was also an Atari 5200 with the hookups but no controllers. I also got my 32" Sony Trinitron in the room too that I've had in storage for 2 years. Finally tried it to see if it works and it does. We played some Tetris on it and it looks so nice. So happy I'm finally using my Trinitron crt! Can't wait to get everything all set up.
  14. Found this awesome Ms. Pac-Man plush at the Goodwill today! 99 cents!
  15. 21940. Played using touchscreen...ugh..so hard with just a touchscreen. But hey, I'm on my lunch break! There's a clip of the last 13 seconds of my game....I'm gonna try on some actual hardware when I get home.
  16. For some reason I've been itching to pick up a 6-string Bass even though I'm more of a guitar player. We got a really nice bonus paycheck at work so I picked this up a couple days ago. It's a lower-end model but I'm having lots of fun with it!
  17. It's shrink-wrapped tho. Wish I could do something about it.
  18. Found this at a used game shop. Paid $3. It's brand new but smooshed. That it was pretty rad. It's the diskette version.
  19. I think it shows crosshairs though. Wouldn't that make it easier?
  20. It's so beautiful. Ric's are such nice guitars! Love it! So a couple weeks ago I saw an ad on offerup for a fender squier guitar for 20 bucks. I've never seen a fender like this ever so I went to go pick it up. When I saw it, I noticed right away is that someone drilled 2 holes in the bridge and screwed it directly to the body and it was tge body only. No electronics in it at all. Here's what it looked like when I got it. Its a 1989 Fender HM (heavy metal) squier strat. It cleaned up pretty nice. Nevermind the fingerprints though. Hahaha. I ordered a all the parts I needed to put this back together. Needed all electrical, replacement locking nut clamps, trem springs and claw and screws to hold springs in place, pots, knobs and I found the exact same bridge to replace the one with the holes. And it came with the whammy bar! Just finished putting it together. Only need to solder the wiring. It's pretty much done though! Action feels great. Can't wait to hear it through an amp!
  21. I found it in the city of Menifee CA.
