  1. So a friend of mine calls me yesterday and says in the process of moving he found all his old games. He had 3 snes, 1 NES, 1 Sega Genesis, and 1 PS1 and games for all systems. He asked if i was interested i said yes. We settled on a price and here i am. 3 very yellow snes systems.

I found a few videos on this cream that seems to work very well and i think im gonna go hunt it down and give it a try. Before i do this does anyome have a better method of cleaning yellow systems?

    Heres the vid

  2. I think for $15, that's a complete steal. The games alone are worth a ton more than that.

As for the lines on the screens, that's usually fixed by re-soldering the screen pins. Not hard...but those aren't worth a ton yet.

Is that something you could do?

  3. Welp sad news today. I got told that the only local game shop near me (next closest one is over an hour away) is closing at the end of the month. So the manager told me that they need to empty the store.

I got these empty game boxes, but was really mad/bummed out that i missed out on the other boxes they had. I missed out on a colecovision, intellivision, commodore 64, NES top loader, and a Sears 2600 box!

  4. Ok so ive got this ps one portable screen and i got it from a friend about a year ago and it worked great when i got it but now its broken. At first i thought it was junked. I was getting sound but no picture but someone suggested i put a flashlight uo to the screen and i can barely see a picture.

So the back light has gone out. I have been told the mod is easy and parts are cheap but i know nothing about soldering and what not. So would anyone here be able to help me?

  5. I found a couple of interesting things today:

    - A TMNT plug and play

    - A third-party N64 controller. Feels pretty good; an interesting design.

That N64 controller is awesome! If you ever want to trade for it please let me know!
