nosweargamer
So I just reviewed this new book, Programming Games For Intellivision by Oscar "Nanochess" Gutierrez (Programmer of Hover Bovver on the Intellivision as well as Princess Quest and Mecha 8 on the Colecovision and Flashback). In it he walks you through how to make your own Intellivision game using IntyBasic. So if this interests you, here are some links to get your started. To order the book: Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Programming-Ga... Lulu.com: http://www.lulu.com/shop/oscar-toledo... RickR
Very cool, thanks so much for sharing. INTV isn't my system of choice...I've had 2600 tools loaded on my computer now for over a year but cannot find the time to get started there. I think I'll write a book about finding time and motivation for the modern busy adult.
Atari 5200 Guy
I've taken a liking to the 7800 personally. Graphically, the 7800 is possibly to most powerful of the 8-bit consoles in that era. The ability to move at least a hundred sprites on screen without any slowdown issues is astounding. Intellivision never really sparked my interest but is still a good console. I can't wait to see what Tommy shows later this year on the new Intellivision.
