Voyager 1

Voyager 1 has been sending back garbage for some time now, but they keep trying to fix it.  Even though I'm a big space fan, I wonder if it's worth it.  Last I heard only one sensor remains switched on due to declining power levels from it's onboard radioactive thermoelectric generator which is expected to be depleted as early as 2025 or as late as 2036 if they are lucky, so the returned science is minimal.  It currently takes 22.5 hours for a signal to get to the spacecraft, and 22.5 hours to return... at a power level of less than 1 trillionth of a watt, which requires using nearly every available dish on the planet to receive the signal, so the cost is enormous for value received.
