Monitors and TVs - Weapon of Choice

For me, I have two TVs for gaming. My garage TV is a Sanyo 27" Flat CRT (DS27910). Nothing fancy but it is a nice TV that is easily adjustable using the service manual. I picked it up for $20 about 4 years ago when we moved into this house and I finally had a garage. It's got S-video, composite and RF. Unlike some Flat CRTs, it works fine with light guns.
My other TV is a 1080p 32" Samsung LCD that we got in 2007. It has component, S-video, composite and HDMI. Because of its age it actually handles old consoles quite well and looks fantastic with newer systems like the PS3. We thought about upgrading recently but many of the new TVs are losing their analog inputs or have so many filters that the older consoles look rubbish.
I'm currently looking into a small TV for my work bench, maybe an old Commodore or Amdek monitor, or a JVC broadcast monitor.

I have a 32" Sony Trinitron CRT from 1998. It's fantastic. It works like brand new and has the matching stand, which houses my AV Modded Atari 7800, NES and Super Famicom. I'm very happy with it.
I don't have a photo of the TV but here is a photo of the matching stand with the Super Famicom in place when I was getting everything installed after a move. It feels nice to have a beautiful CRT with everything nice and organized

I won't take pictures because it's embarrassingly messy (I'm re-arranging things). But I have two 13" analog LCD TV's. One is in a cabinet that I can close up. I have a PS2, Wii, Retron 3, and 2600 hooked up here. A lot of gaming potential in one small space. The other is in my garage on a workbench and used for testing and a lot of playing. I love both of these sets because they look nice but don't take up much space. I'm thinking of getting a wheeled cart for the garage unit to make a "mobile" gaming platform. If the cart has multiple ledges, I could hook up multiple game systems. But I haven't had time to look for an appropriate cart.

Today I'm installing battery operated LED puck lights (all operate via a remote control) in my gaming cabinet, and it's turning out to be a really nice feature. What was dark before is now cool looking. I got a set of 6 lights (and one remote) from Costco. Pictures forthcoming once I get things all re-arranged.

I'm house sitting for folks in few weeks so have the old 14" portable SD TV I used to play on my PSone at the time, plus the PSone itself set up..after much searching for leads, batteries, etc..
Popped in Iron Solider 3...looks soon much better...
But it took me bloody ages to find a PS1 memory card :-)
So used to saving to HDD or PSP memory card.
Actually looking forward to some PS1 time..
I.S 3, N2O,Tempest X3,and Doom!!!
Kinda like resisting the Jaguar days, but with better texture mapping, frame rates and THAT Doom music :-))

Here we go. It's more presentable now.
Wii is on the top shelf. PS2 and Retron on shelf 2, and Atari on the bottom. With a little room for something extra down there.
And here's what it looks like closed up. My wife prefers it this way.

I tend to see a lot of jvplay's videos come up in my IG feed and I'm envious at times but currently don't have the room for extra or spare monitors, especially of the CRT kind. However, I do plan on obtaining a CRT for the older consoles for sure. I think the Sony Trinitron is the best and would like to get a nice 20-32" CRT but would love to have one of these as well:
