    This game is so poorly programmed for the 7800. It really could have been better. I still say someone needs to hack it to fix the controls.

    Those look to be in excellent condition! My copy of Riddle of the Sphinx is autographed by Bob Smith. I had him sign it at PRGE a couple of years ago. 🙂

    Just finished watching the short version of the video. That was a cool interview. Funny how he ended up choosing Commodore as the name for the company!

    Wow, that needed to be released! Looks awesome! If we extend the games to homebrew titles, then Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest would fit perfectly as something that is NES-like. And, of course, Rikki & Vikki show what the 7800 can do when given proper resources. Much like Nintendo did with the NES by adding chips to the carts, so did the developer of this game for the 7800.

    The three you listed are visually almost identical to the NES ports, so yes, those are obvious ones. If you're talking about the style of game being more like the NES, then Scrapyard Dog would be one of those titles. KLAX is another good one as it is a puzzle game that has some elements like Tetris. Another title to consider is Commando. Since that one has a POKEY chip, it even matches the NES in sound quality.

    Where did you order them from? They were just released, so you should not be waiting long for them.

    This is a much shorter book. It's written by Bob Picardo but as if he were the actual Doctor hologram. So, it is fiction of how to be a hologram. Haven't read it full but looked through. Fun book. 🙂
