TrekMD got a reaction from DegasElite in The History of the Atari Lynx & its Games
Yep, Zaku is awesome. It is unfortunate it is no longer being sold.

Had you told me that before? I don't remember you telling me this story before. It's cool, though. 🙂
There are several excellent titles: Alpine Games, Championship Rally, Crystal Mines II: Buried Treasure, Sky Raider Redux, T-tris, and Vikings Saga all come to mind for me. It all depends on the type of games you like.

This video is to announce the Fan Weekend for The Neutral Zone (something I have not been able to attend yet) but it is funny...

Two examples of "competent" parallel parking...a smart car!

This one always makes me smile. It's an old Blockbuster ad...

TrekMD reacted to VK4JJY in Perpetual Calendar
Hello,
This is a calendar program I wrote back a decade ago, and recently ported to Lynx when getting the C compiler working.
It's a bit like the calendar on your phone that can keep generating calendars for months long into the future.
The data is calculated, not data stored within. Enjoy!

I got my Lynx II about a month after discussing the hand held with you at PRGE 2017. While on my way to visit family in Long Island, NY, I decided to stop by a local video game store. I had never been there and thought, why not. They just happened to have a boxed Lynx II. I tried it out and we agreed on a price for the Lynx and Ms. Pac-Man. Since then, I’ve picked up a 2nd Lynx II and both have been modded (McWill LCD screen). One of them also has VGA output. I have 31 games, mostly homebrew, in my collection and hoping to add Impossible Mission soon.

I got my Lynx II when it was released. I slowly, but surely, got a complete library of games for it. I'm only missing P.I.T.S., which is very hard to find nowadays. The system was better than the GameBoy by leaps and bounds but Atari did not do things right.

This is a nice video by PatmanQC looking at the history of the Atari Lynx and its games. Thought I'd share it. Enjoy!

TrekMD reacted to socrates63 in Post your latest/recent pickups!
I added a couple more Evercade cartridges to the collection. I was a little surprised when I saw the DataEast Collection available in Amazon. Songbird Productions has been out of stock for a long time, and I thought it was out of print. I crossed my fingers that it wasn't a listing error for the DataEast Arcade Collection, and it wasn't. It's still available here if you're missing it in your collection.
