peteym5 got a reaction from Arenafoot in Animal Keeper - Zookeeper like clone for Atari 8-bit
https://www.facebook.com/groups/963846007156190/
I have changed the name of my facebook group to Atari 8-bit Game Programming to open up something where programmers and game players can work together and come up with some interesting ideas. I received some interesting suggestions in the past few days. I am looking to bring in some experience programmers to help with the novice guys to bring them up to speed.

peteym5 got a reaction from Justin in A look at VENTURE for Atari 7800 - Work in Progress
Here is my work in progress so far for Venture. Right now I am figuring out how to make one of my games work with the 7800 and use it as a template for the rest of the games that I am looking to port over later. Also get one game out on cartridge to see how it sells before deciding on more games. The other games on the list include Delta Space Arena, Laser Blast X, Tile Smashers, Putt 18 Miniature Golf, Animal Keeper, and Secretum Labyrinth.

Here is the next set of the extra 4 dungeons that were present on the Atari 8-bit version of Venture. These only get played if you choose challenger mode.

Here are some more work in progress screen shots for Venture. I am starting to work on the individual dungeon rooms where you need to go in and get the treasures. I am sure I can make things multicolored at 160 resolution.

Here are some work in progress screen shots for Venture on the Atari 7800 I have the first 3 map screens put together. I am planning to make this more like the arcade verses the 2600, Coleco, Intellivision, or even my 8-bit/5200 version. It may have several modes, default being arcade, other modes being home console, 8-bit challenger mode, and 7800 challenger mode. The issue I had with the 8-bit version was I could only dedicate 6 sprites for the enemies inside of each room. 7800 that can be extended to 8 or 10 maybe, or have something else like flames or energy bolts bouncing between walls. Many ideals are being considered.

Have is my planned video for Secretum Labyrinth Dark Castles. The cartridge is still a few months from being released and things are subject to change. I still may look into improving some graphics and sound, but the game play is pretty well set.

New updated Video for Laser Blast X. Done with better conversion with better detail. Showing different game options with both 8-bit and 5200 version. Different options include playing against 3 tanks, 4 tanks, tanks + fighers, and 6 tanks. Also enemy lasers or enemy bolts. Fixed space formation or random movement of each tank. Many different options than the 2600 version to make the game more challenging and better graphics.
The 8-bit and 5200 version cartridge comes with an laminated instruction sheet. Clam shell packaging. Laser Printed Labels.
