      It goes without saying that it was my first unboxing on video, and I'm glad I didn't prepare for it because I wanted to share my genuine reactions to the bundle. I had to give you and the community a shout out. Thanks for watching!

      A few quick observations from my stream:

      • The Atari Speakerhat is packaged in a very large box. I doubt I'll actually use the speakers but the hat fit rather comfortably upon unpacking.
      • While the outside packaging for the bundle is quite colorful, the contents are packaged in brown boxes (albeit with ATARI VCS written on them along with the Asteroids shooter in vector graphics.
      • Both controllers are really sleek! A few viewers were impressed with one asking if they can be used on PC.
      • The system itself is slightly bigger than an iPad. It's not that heavy, either; I'm sure I'll end up onnecting it to my computer monitor and/or TV.
      • Next will be connecting the system and checking if I encounter the update error. I know there is a way to fix it, I'm really hoping to plug in, connect, and play.

    I've been adjusting my new RTO schedule, hence the limited communication lately. The flip side is that I have large block of time where I can edit & do show prep.       I really did spot that Star Fox demo on Twitter recently, which is why I shared the link in the chat. I find such crossovers quite intriguing.

       

      Finding and embracing my own voice and approach took a lot of time. I had to figure out the direction of my show which took some time. Once i figured out what I could do given my free time, I chose the path I'm on now. In addition, it's a path no one else in retrogaming is taking. I support the shows & podcasts which focus on history and/or current gaming. But I have found comfort in my current show format and that allows me to embrace the retrogaming community while being comfortable with myself.
