I was somewhat busy with work this week, busier than in previous years. I then tried to sneak in some gaming on Twitch but I ran into a few issues:

1. The game I wanted to play (Bagman Comes Back for C64) wouldn't work on VICE
2. The latest update for Ecamm Live (streaming software for Mac) was causing VICe to slow down (!)

I never had an issue with streaming any gaming on Twitch until this week. Of course, if there is a patch to be issued by Ecamm Live, then it likely won't be issued until well after Cyber Monday. What really puzzled me, though, was VICE slowing down from 50 fps to 47 fps. The CPU % dropped 5% as well.

So I will install Twitch Studio Beta for Mactoday  and give that a try, but also keep it installed as a backup. Twitch Studio Beta is designed for new streamers; the easier for me to learn & use, the better lol.

I will continue to use Ecamm Live for my show but not for any gaming, at least until the next update.

I know @Justin was kind in touting the show following the Missile Command Squad Challenge, and thank you for that plug. I am normally on Tuesdays but non-gaming stuff has forced an upcoming schedule change.

Episode 69 will air on Wednesday, November 17 at 9pm ET. I will be away for the first half of November and I will be unable to stream shows, much less get in a lot of gaming.

Episode 70 will air on Tuesday, November 30 at 9pm ET. It's scheduled after the Thanksgiving holiday here in the States.

I'm back after a few weeks of non-gaming stuff. I hope this post finds you in good spirits (or even drinking good spirits - it's Friday afternoon as I type this message).

I'm getting my gaming legs back under me, so to speak. I'm also back to working on my Twitch show. The Season 3 Premiere is set for Tuesday, August 10 at 9pm ET! Here's a teaser:

I may give Enduro Racer a go, though I have never played the Sega Master System. (I didn't know anyone who owned one.) Nonetheless, the High Score Challenge will receive a mention on Tuesday's show.

Why, yes, I am spending my Sunday afternoon watching the 2020 Classic Tetris World Championship on Twitch!

Spoiler Alert: We will have a new champion this year as 2-Time Champion, Joseph Saelee, lost in the 1st round of the Finals in 5 games.

I will add that watching these young gamers take Tetris to new heights is truly fantastic!

The European Speedrun Association (ESA) is holding their Break The Record marathon while Speedrun.com hosts their 24/7 Speedrun Variety event. In addition, RetroGamingLiveTV is sticking to the holiday theme with their Halloween Horror Marathon!
