This was a personal best and my first time completing arcade mode!  Still a bit back from @D.joe, but we have a lot of days left in May. 😉

VCS Dashboard Change Logs for Production - APR 2023
● UI/UX bug fixes and improvements
● All the backend APIs were updated to V13
● Code Optimized for better load performance
● Updated Store UI to display a constant selection frame which differentiate user selected
product tile
● Added a new feature to display the overall count available for the store sections and see all
sections
● Added search and sort option for all the reports in the back office dashboard for a better
visibility to the admin
● Added a quick fix which resolve the issue where some product names are overlap with the
newly implemented selection border
● Cleaned up some of the VCS user from the Stage VCS Dashboard
● Added a new implementation which displays the list of all the orders/purchases happened
along with the status if they went thru fine or any issue with failed to save into the DB in the
Orders module from back office dashboard
● Added a fix which revolves the issue where in friends related section, user can still see the old
product selection boarders
● A fix was added to resolve the issue where some products display the default box art image in
the product info logs section, even though those products have their box art assets.
● Added a new implementation in the back office dashboard which allows the user to download
the list of users associated in the user roles section with all the details
● Updated the latest feature text with localized text
● Added new filters to the reports in the back office dashboard so that admin get the needed
results quick and easy
● Updated/repositioned the Context menu UI in the product detail page so that now user can
view it better and also in better way
● All crashes and exceptions that were registered in the previous production build were resolved
● For the added ease of user to the admin, Added the BCID directly in the list view of the VCS
Users module
● A fix was added to resolve the issues of longer product names displaying improperly in the
Home and games screens.
● A new functionality was added to log and track the admin details while adding the game to
user or modifying the products in the back office dashboard
● A fix was added to resolve the issue of not loading properly the second time when users click
on “load more” in the store.
● Added an additional security for backend on updating the AWS access keys for dev and stage
environments
● A new feature called “Help” was added, which can be accessed from the profile/settings
screens and allows the user to view all the key combinations or features from the controllers
for the VCS Dashboard
● A new feature in the back office dashboard called “VCS Home User” was added, which allows
admins to view the list of all home users tagged to the VCS boxes
● A fix was added to resolve the age rating issues for games, which were not displaying 7+ and
12+ rated games for some age groups in the VCS store and with sharing.

I hope folks can give this one a try! This game is notable for having come from the Atari Program Exchange (APX). The programmer- Greg Christensen - was in high school when he made this!

Objective
Play for the highest possible score using the difficulty settings defined in the challenge. Post a photo or YouTube video of your score in this thread. Scores must be achieved between May 1st through May 31, 2023. Screen captures are not allowed as they are more easily manipulated for falsified scores. Multiple submissions are permitted. The player with the highest score at the end of the competition is the victor!
 
Eligibility
This is a Club VCS Exclusive Challenge. All Club VCS players are welcome!
 
Play Rules
Games may be played on real Atari VCS hardware. Choosing which controller to play on is part of formulating your strategy. Enhancements, rewinds and hacked versions of this game are not allowed.
 
Difficulty Level
We are playing Caverns of Mars: Recharged in ARCADE MODE! Select your score modifiers of choice and play to achieve the highest possible score!
 
Fair Play
Your integrity is everything. Players should play fairly, be honest, and have fun! Falsified scores will result in your immediate removal from the site. It goes without saying that we will not allow cheats, hacks, cartridge frying, enhancements, rewinds, deceitful photo manipulation, subterfuge, or any other unfair advantage. Everybody hates a cheater.

Welcome to our 15th Club VCS Recharged Squad Challenge!!! For this challenge, we're taking on SqueakyBox and Atari's brand new take on the APX cult hit Caverns of Mars in a special DOUBLE FEATURE SQUAD CHALLENGE!
The original Caverns of Mars was was famously programmed a teenage Greg Christensen for the Atari Program Exchange (APX) in 1981 for the Atari 8-Bit. It went on to become the best selling APX game program ever.  Atari included the game in the Atari50 collection.
More than 40 years later, Atari returns to the red planet with Caverns of Mars: Recharged! Progress through 30 unique missions set within three primary “depths” of Mars, descending deeper and deeper into enemy territory. Blast through oncoming hostile fire, bull through debris and obstructions, and dodge other obstacles all while keeping a close eye on fuel and ammo reserves!
Play in ARCADE mode from level one and take the game as far as you can for the high score!
 
Club VCS Recharged Squad Contest
This game is the fifth title in our third Club VCS contest giveaway! Prize details will be announced shortly. 
1)  All challenge participants will receive one (1) entry for each challenge in which they submit a valid score!
2) The top scorer of each challenge will receive two (2) additional entries - for a total of three (3) entries in a single challenge!
3) On Twitch or Youtube?  Stream or record and post your ClubVCS high score attempt for one (1) additional entry in each round.  You must post a public link to the video in the Challenge.
BUT ARE THERE BUTTONS? 
Yes! We've made another set of ClubVCS buttons to celebrate the games in this series. There will be two ways to get a button set.
1) Win a challenge.
2) Post a valid score to all challenges in the 6 game series.
Only one button set will be mailed per member during the series.

Congratulations to "The Mayor" @greenween on a triumphant win! Greenween survived the invading alien onslaught and takes the top spot in our Final Standings with an impressive score of 2,230 points. Way to go, Greenween! Our in-house legendary Twitch streamer @Marco1019 came in with a stellar performance, scoring 2,065 points and marking a new personal best, taking our 2nd spot on the board. We welcome the incredible @HDN back to High Score Squad, who takes the 3rd spot on our board with a solid 1,865 points! "The Don" @RickR achieved a score of 1,550 points to take 4th Place, our favorite 5200 guru @Atari 5200 Guy scored 1,030 points, taking 5th Place, and - is there a doctor in the house? - Beam me up, Scotty, @TrekMD rounds things out in 6th Place with 495 Points. Congratulations once again to Greenween for his  BIG WIN, and I want to thank @RickR for nominating this game! I hope everybody had fun playing Space Invaders on Crazy Mode 8!
