In all the reading I've done, Mr. Nimoy comes off as very serious, very committed to his work.  It is really great to see that he mellowed out so much later in life.  Probably attributed to a happy marriage and cleaner lifestyle (again, from what I've gathered from reading).

They were estranged, but William Shatner is a great writer and really provides a great account.  Wonderful read.

Update: I was able to connect with James G Watt and he had a Stramash Zone pin available for sale. I will also be receiving a 12v UV Light Frame. He was making these over a year ago and has recently started making them again. 

Looks like the pins were available for purchase in June, 2020.

I ate some authentic New Orleans food last night.  Crawfish and shrimp pasta with fried catfish, followed by three beignetes...

I'm in New Orleans for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists convention with several of my fellows and colleagues.  We went to an Egyptian restaurant today, courtesy of one of my partners.  There was PLENTY of food!

Good question. I now the original cart works on the 2600+ In order to trigger Asteroids you have to trigger the "Escape Sequence" for the hidden game: Hold both buttons + right for 3 or so seconds, immediately upon Asteroids Deluxe splashscreen load. This will cause Asteroids Deluxe to start and upon release, the Asteroids rom will start up.

I have a whole collection of WDW stuff I will have to upload and share. I have some original stuff from the visitors center from before it opened, and some items from my great uncle who oversaw construction of some electrical systems in the Magic Kingdom.
I always thought the modular construction at Tempo Bay where the hotel rooms were pre-fab and slid right into the structure of the resort was amazing. 50 years of hurricanes and it’s just fine.

We still have four locations of Movie Exchange here in Houston. Ran a search and they appear to be it. Somehow I expected the 4th largest city in the US to maybe have a few more stores, but I guess the mom & pops just can't compete with the likes of Amazon. ☹️

I love that ride too.  Much bigger than the DL version.  But when they rebuilt the track on the DL version several years ago, that one became really special because it is so smooth.

The Disney World Contemporary Hotel under construction.  You can see the monorail track being built out too.

That's so cool!  I can't remember how many time I watched it in the theater!  I do remember that we watched sections of the movie while in school.  They used to sell movie tape with just some of the scenes (like the tie fighter battle against the Falcon when they escape the Death Star) and we watched those in school.  I remember we sold tickets and did it over lunch!  LOL
