  1. Cotton Candy I remember trying this a few years ago for the first time alongside Candy Apple. I was skeptical of both at first, but Candy Apple was a pleasant surprise. But wow! Is Cotton Candy good! It's amazing what they can do with chemicals these days! I don't know how to put it, except it is exactly how a Cotton Candy pop should be. Just the right amount of sweetness and after a sip, you really get the Cotton Candy taste. If you don't like cotton candy in general, you may not care for it, but as it is, THIS IS THE BEST COTTON CANDY SODA POP OUT THERE!!!!! Rating: Hall of Fame Faygo Ranks 1) Root Beer! 2) Cotton Candy 3) Candy Apple 4) Moon Mist Blue 5) Redpop! 6) Moon Mist
  2. In Michigan, I always have good luck at gas stations and Meijers! For instance, I could only find the Moon Mist Blue at a Quality Dairy gas station.
  3. What video game series would you like to see come back that haven't had new, official game in years? You can see my top four choices in the video below.
  4. Time for another commercial. This time a more modern one that takes a jab at a bigger company.
  5. Just in time for Atari Day, it's Ep 337: Enduro
  6. Moon Mist Blue I remember when Moutain Dew Code Red came out before the 27 different variations of Dew we have today. I was a big MD fan and was happy to try the Red. It took awhile for me to fully admit it, but I ended up like Red even better than the original, and that's saying something. Well, guess what? Moon Mist Blue pulls a Code Red and far outshines regular Moon Mist. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's a blueberry flavor they've added. And it tastes great! It's also the only flavor I saw this time around that I never saw before. It's not quite at Code Red level, but I'd gladly drink this one again. Rating: Solid Faygo Ranks 1) Root Beer! 2) Candy Apple 3) Moon Mist Blue 4) Redpop! 5) Moon Mist
  7. Even though I'm a fan of both Dr. Pepper and Mr. Pibb, I've never tried Dr. Faygo. I'm not sure if it's a newer flavor or I just didn't see it a lot growing up.
  8. You might have to wait for my next trip up north! What you see in the first pic is all I have available to review this time.
  9. You know what? I should be ranking these! So here I go! Faygo Ranks 1) Root Beer! 2) Candy Apple 3) Redpop! 4) Moon Mist
  10. I forgot to mention, that Faygo Root Beer goes GREAT with pizza!!! Speaking of which, it's time for another commercial break:
  11. Ironically, I'm cutting down on sodas, but any trip to Michigan calls for some Faygos in my book. And they also make a really good cream soda!
  12. Candy Apple This one was a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting much from this apple flavored pop, but the moment I opened the cap, I caught a great candy apple aroma, and usually when I open these I don't get any scent. This has just the right amount of sweetness for me and really does taste like a candy apple pop should, which is both surprising and hard to explain. It didn't seem like it should work, but it does. It may not be for everyone, but it's one of those unique flavors any soda fan should try at least once. Rating: Hall of Fame
  13. Root Beer! Wow. I will admit to overlooking this during my trips to Michigan in favor of the more exotic flavors, but I shouldn't have. Tasting this again reminds me just how good of a root beer it is! And it might be my favorite root beer!!! I wouldn't be alone. Bon Appetit Magazine once called it the best Root Beer in America! There are other great root beers out there, but this one gives you great bang for the buck. From now on, whenever I pick up different Faygos, I will always try to include this one. 14. Since it's not too far from Detroit, I would expect Faygo to be found pretty easy in Chicago. I even found a little in Florida when I lived there, but that was limited to a Sams Club pack of the more generic flavors and a limited run of Red Pop in a Dollar Tree. And btw, I tend to go Coke for cola, but yes, the diets can taste similar.
  15. Actually, it just has some drawings from my kids and some other personal stuff.
  16. A tour of my game closet:

WOW that's an impressive collection NSG! Hats off to you on the 1984 7800 Joust, I'm still not over that. Way too cool!

  17. My cabinet changed a little since I posted the photo, but I actually made a video going through it, including the games hidden behind the stuff in front.
  18. Moon Mist This is Faygo's version of Mountain Dew, but honestly to me it tastes like a caffeinated Sprite with more sugar. And I'm not that big of a Sprite fan. Another one that's not as good as I remember. Don't worry. Better flavors are coming soon! Rating: Meh
  19. Yup. Had Vernors many times! And, if I am not mistaken, they even had a commercial starring Soupy Sales!
