I wasn't able to get my score any higher. This was a great choice though.

I was so excited for DK and DK Jr. I played them a lot, but they are terrible in my opinion. At the time I was happy enough, but they are pretty bad ports.

This is such a perfect example of why I love the 2600. Simple but addictive. The increasing difficulty keeps me coming back for more.

Anyone else notice the sounds of getting hit and recharging are the same as the ones used in Cosmic Ark? I'm sure there are plenty of other instances of this. LOL. I do love Cosmic Ark though.

I grew up with a 2600. My best friend was the ONLY person I ever knew with a 5200. I was always jealous after playing his version of Pac-Man! When I got serious about collecting, the 5200 was the first system I bought. I love it, one of the greatest consoles of all time. That being said, the 2600 has sooo many great games. Simple but addictive. I'm always blown away at what those programmers where able to accomplish.

The final true issue was in 2018. They have bi monthly subscriptions with new covers, classic content. I still love it! 🙂 I have a couple hundred issues packed away.

Great scores! Been playing a little more today. Timing the button pushes with the counter helped a lot. 2 things that were killing me were the "landmines", I just couldn't avoid them. I've learned to cut through the grey areas and just avoid them. It slows me down but not as much as hitting them. The one part of the course with the bumpers on the left and right. I kept hitting them all. Finally, it dawned on me to just stay in the center and you won't him them, LOL. My last try I was in 1st place on the final lap but freaked out and lost. Haha.

I still subscribe to MAD. I turn 50 next week. LOL!

I finally finished the race. kept getting better each time. I'll be spending some more time on this one for next year. 🙂 2'28"74

I know my wife bought me the Zelda Game and Watch as well as an 8 in 1 Asteroids counter cade. Pretty excited for both!

Not sure if anyone here even knows who Trevor was. He was my absolute favorite actor, comedian, musician, and local sexpot. Founder of The Whitest Kids U Know, Which I consider the greatest sketch comedy ever made. He passed away on August 7th of this year at the age of 41. He was a major part of my life. We used to have WKUK parties when a new season would start. Just wanted to say something about him.
