Anyone can join in. All players are welcome!
Play Rules
Games may be played on real hardware, Flashback / Mini console, officially released compilation, or emulation, using any controller or keyboard, following all rules and game settings defined in the challenge. Choosing between real hardware or emulation, and choosing which controller to play on is part of formulating your strategy. Enhancements, rewinds, updated and hacked versions of this game are not allowed.
Difficulty Level
Default. There are no difficulty levels to select in this game.
Fair Play
Your integrity is everything. Players should play fairly, be honest, and have fun! Falsified scores will result in your immediate removal from the site. It goes without saying that we will not allow cheats, hacks, cartridge frying, enhancements, rewinds, deceitful photo manipulation, subterfuge, or any other dishonest advantage. Everybody hates a cheater.

Congratulations everyone and great job @Marco1019!
Also, welcome to the Club (VCS)! I look forward to seeing you in the Recharged Squad Challenge!

We all did an awesome job. Joust is hard no matter what and the 2600 version has got some big ones to deal with. The eggs flying around are one thing, the enemy jousters in the 2600 version are tougher than those on the 5200 and 7800 versions. 2600 Joust is a solid game for sure. I'm glad I have it.

Thank you as always, @Justin, for the kind words. As I believe I posted early on in this thread, I never imagined Joust would be released for the 2600!
I'm not sure if I will take part in March, but it's party for a good reason: I will be soon taking part in the Recharged Squad Challenge! I will (finally) unbox my new Atari VCS on a short Twitch stream tomorrow night, and I hope to get in a little gaming before preparing for my 100th show on Wednesday.
Oh, I also learned of another fun challenge called the Splash Wave Racing League. It's run on Twitter by Sharkabytes, and their latest challenge is Wipeout XL!

greenween reacted to MaximumRD in Kids In The Hall
OK now it's on. Having lived my entire life in TORONTO ONTARIO up until moving here to B.C. 20 years ago KIDS IN THE HALL were a favorite. These characters always come to mind when I think KIDS IN THE HALL. Simple concept, that one guy who never comes through for you and yet, we keep falling for their word that they in fact will come through. This skit takes it to the limit 😎The original skit (there are some additional ones) called “The King of Empty Promises” with Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald. Of their most popular sketches and characters (Buddy Cole / Chicken Lady/ Crushing your head guy etc) for some reason, this skit always stuck with me, one because Kevin McDonalds character though clearly evil is quite calm and reserved, maddingly so, compared to many of his usual loud and maniacal characters. 😆Here are the two skits I remember, watch in order to see just how much of a sad sucker Foley's character is. The thing is, maybe it sticks in my mind because I can relate, as Foley's character 🤷♂️Obviously e is the victim in this equation but you just know part of his anger / disappointment is with himself for constantly falling for it.
The Kids in the Hall: King of Empty Promises
Follow up: Kids In The Hall: "The King of Empty Promises" -- In Jail!
