Since I've now got an extra $3k sitting in my bank account, since most necessities have been taken care of, I'm actually starting to look into maybe snagging a few rarer hardware pieces for my *New* collection.
I'm looking at either a Famicom Disk System or a Twin Famicom to start.
Any suggestions from you guys?

If you can find it I'd go with a Twin Famicom but make sure it is a dark grey one with controllers having a light grey and blue accents. Those controllers have turbo switches on them. And you get the best of both worlds on those. Sharp Twins are the only company Nintendo approved to make aftermarket Famicoms that I'm aware of.
