  1. PSA: VCS Onyx Base Unit is on sale at gamestop for $149. Controllers are $29ea. The All-In Onyx is still $399.

    This is the best deal we've seen so far on the VCS.

      Oh man, thank you for sharing this.  I am going to seriously consider joining in at $180.  Where do you buy the software though?  And what's this about loading Steam on there?

      You're welcome. It's a digital-only console so all software is through the VCS store in AtariOS. It basically functions like any other digital store.

      Some folks have loaded SteamOS in PC-Mode. You can do this using an external HD, a fast USB stick or an internal SSD with the appropriate partitions. I haven't run Steam myself but I have run both Batocera and Windows 10 and 11 from a USB.
