Personally, I think this is Atari's best take so far on the Gravitar IP. It's also my least played Recharged game. I will definitely submit but my best score so far doesn't crack 20k.
Of course, the best gravity flyer on the VCS is Thrustlander by a light year.

There is a lot of rumour mill/speculation going on about the continued delay of the VCS version of Atari50. Here is a recap of what we know from Atari & Digital Eclipse:
The Atari team hosted a live Q&A on the Atari VCS Discord to discuss the delay of the VCS version last week on 11/10 - the day before expected release.
Part of the delay is attributed to a personal emergency on the Digital Eclipse side which Atari could not disclose specifics of due to privacy issues/concerns.
The Atari team acknowledged the disappointment by users/fans.  They are working with Digital Eclipse to get the VCS port out as soon as possible.
Once the VCS version releases it will be $10 off for the first 24 hours it's in the VCS store. It will also include Circus Atari as a bonus which isn't on any other version of the collection.
My thoughts are with the devs working to bring this port out on Atari hardware.

On this quick Newsline Newsflash update, where is 'Atari 50' on the 'Atari VCS?' Is this the new standard for VCS users... being last? What's taking so long? This epsiode, I begin a massive undertaking... I'm going to be playing 'Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration' by Digital Eclipse, released on 11/11/22. I'll begin with Chapter 1 in the 'documentary'-focused collection, Arcade Origins, and work my way through the entire game, playing all 103 games and reading all the ephemera, snippets & showing you all the photos & tidbits in this amazing collection. Each episode will last 30 minutes, so you can dig in where you want, and you won't feel obligated to stay for too long. Enjoy! I don't know if this has been shared yet, but it appears that the "old" version of Missile Command: Recharged has been renamed and is now free on the VCS store.  I haven't had time to take a picture, but it's called "MC: R" and I grabbed it the other day.

I like how quickly the difficulty and speed ramp up on the PB version.
The Starpath version is astounding.  This does not look like a 2600 game.  The sounds and graphics are delightful.

Ok, I just had a really good game.  There we are, 28,377.  Not my personal best but it is the best I've done in months.

I use the Classic. It definitely helps with precise aiming in my opinion.
