Hey folks! I just got my hands on the Pole Position II cart that RickR sent me and will be posting some lap times later tonight. The Squad Challenge runs through the end of the month so I'm going to use that time to get my best times possible. Good luck to everyone! Tried to hook up my 7800 to my TV but my cable to connect to the TV is missing! I have no idea where it's at! So disappointing. However I managed to get the 7800 library working on my NES classic.

Really wanted to take part in this one. Now I'll be able to!

driving offroad is better than crashing , seemed forever trying to get by 2 cars fortunately no signs.
 
this is a pretty tough challenge , took a couple tries to complete even this course after trying the others

had to do a test run and fortunately   I HAD MY CAMERA READY ,
 
after passing bonus is counted it seems to go back to the track selection screen.
 
Imma try the pause button but will STILL KEEP MY CAMERA READY !!!!

ok next race ( I didn't finish crashed to many times   ) BUT if you wait it will show your last scores & lap time while in attract mode

From what I recall greenween did that on "ball 1" (not sure how many extra balls were used)
 
Pretty sure he could have rolled it a few times as he had nudging the bonus lane pretty well "dialed in"

Went to a value village today and found these 2. A sonic plug n play game and a parker brothers merlin. Got both for $1.28 with tax. The sonic plu n play is awesome. It has alot of genesis games on it. The stick is really awkward though

certainly is a great score .... I think the game ended so the color-cycling thing would kick-in & prevent burn-in on them old TV's ( new at the time)

So I finally did it! I got the bumper values to 9 and hit the top three targets afterward...twice! And you know what happens???? Nothing. Well, the screen flashes and you hear neat sounds, but the bumpers stay at 9 and don't increase in value. Oh well. At lease it helped me pass 500K!

getting closer to the score NSG put on his video ( that one doesn't count though   )
 
still have to read the manual for the proper nomenclature but a good strategy for this challenge ... get extra ball as soon as possible .then juice the bumpers ... I am wondering if the lock-in at 9 or revert back to 1 ( only got 'em up to 8 so far ) then nudge the left bonus lane til your hand is cramped !!!
 
I have been ape-flipping this one and I know it caused atleast ONE drain .
