Mission Goal:
Your goal is to out score your opponent in a 7 minute timed match. You can score points by shooting your opponent or by picking up power-up items. Revector can be operated player 1 vs. the Vectrex, or player 1 vs. player 2 simultaneous if you have 2 Vectrex gaming controllers. Revector features a rather unique vehicle control system with the joystick controlling both rotation and thrust. Power-up's include points, health, energy, weapons, invisibility and more ...

This Vectrex item is compatible with, and for play in, all regions of the Vectrex video game system by Milton Bradley (MB), General Consumer Electronics (GCE), and Bandai バンダイ (光速船 / Kousokusen). Vectrex games, Controllers, 3D Imagers, and other accessories are not region specific to a particular Vectrex console. The manual language printing (Canada dual / Europe multi / Japan), box printing (Canada dual / Europe multi / Japan), and overlay printing (Japan) are the only differences. 
The Vectrex is a classic 1982 vector graphics based video game system created by Smith Engineering and General Consumer Electronics (GCE). Later purchased and marketed by Milton Bradley (MB) as well as licensed for distribution and sale in Japan by Bandai. Made in 1982, 1983, and 1984.

OMG have you been watching prices on every retro console? 
Time to invent a time machine and go back to the time. Back when people were complaining about a $30 price being too high for a broken Vectrex. Or any heavy sixer Atari 2600. Or a Virtual Boy.
Back i those times when you were telling yourself it is time to buy one.
Now try and look ahead another 10 years when every barely running, wonky controller, Vectrex will have some kind of grading applied to it.
A time when you're making another post on some future social site about the same topic.

From time to time I really see some really shameless auctions or 'buy it now' items.  I've never quite been sure if the sellers are just plain greedy, or are using Ebay as a conduit to launder money.  Right now some dude has a PHOTOCOPIED (duplicated manual) from an old computer users group of a TI manual.  If that's not bad enough, they want a total of $45.49 for it!

Received this from Sean Kelly in the mail today. This is a game that really shows off what the Vectrex is capable of. It is a shooter that has varied game elements 'inspired' by other games we know and loved back in the day. It is very tricky to film a Vectrex but I think I've finally got a method down for this. Requires having to use my camcorders 24fps cinema mode so that the Vectrex is drawing faster than the camera can pick up and that reduces the flicker I usually get when filming. The audio is captured straight from my Vectrex Audio Tap I have installed along with the wonderful Buzz Off! kit to remove that nasty buzz.
